division and its eastern boundary produced across a public
road, by the said public road to the north-western corner
of the eastern portion of Lot 19 on plan deposited as aforesaid
No. 7011, by the said eastern portion of Lot 19 and Lots 18
and 17 on plan aforesaid No. 7011; towards the south-east
generally by Lot 12 on plan No. 7011 aforesaid, the crossing
of the Great South Road, by Lots 1, 14, 13, 12, and 11 on
plan deposited as aforesaid No. 9047, and the north-western
boundary of the last-mentioned lot produced to and across
Carruth Road; thence by a right line to the north-eastern
corner of Lot 24 on plan No. 7551 deposited as aforesaid, by
the north-eastern boundaries of the last-mentioned lot and
Lots 25, 26, 27, and 28 on the aforesaid plan No. 7551;
towards the south generally by Puhinui Road, by the North
Island Main Trunk Railway to the north-western corner of
Lot 39 on aforesaid plan No. 7551; thence by a right line to
an angle in the south-western boundary of Lot 2 on plan
No. 2833 deposited as aforesaid, bearing 346° 5', distant
1997·2 links from the southernmost corner of Lot 2 aforesaid;
thence in a southerly direction by the aforesaid Lot 2 for a
distance of 850 links, thence by a right line to the south-
eastern corner of Lot 18 shown on Town Plan No. 646, de-
posited in the Survey Office, Auckland, by the southern
boundary of the said Lot 18 and its production across a
road, and by Lot 17 on the aforesaid plan No. 646; and
towards the south-west generally by the western boundary
of Lot 20 on the aforesaid plan No. 646, the crossing of a
road, by the western boundary of Lot 34 on the last-
mentioned plan, by the south-western boundary of Lot 22
on Town Plan No. 645, the crossing of Hillside Road, by the
western boundaries of Lots 21 and 20 on the aforesaid plan
No. 645 to the northernmost corner of the last-mentioned
lot; thence by a right line to the south-eastern corner of
Lot 7 on plan deposited in the office of the District Land
Registrar, Auckland, No. 9822, by the south-eastern bound-
aries of Lot 7 aforesaid, and Lots 8, 9, 10, and 11, on the
aforesaid plan No. 9822, and by the south-western boundary
of the last-mentioned Lot 11 and Lot 13 on aforesaid plan
No. 9822, to the point of commencement.

Special Shooting Season for Native Game, Ashburton
Acclimatization District.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals
Protection Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby exempt from the operation of section
twenty-six of the said Act the Ashburton Acclimatization
District, and do hereby notify that the following native game
—viz., grey duck, black teal, and black swan—may be killed
within the Ashburton Acclimatization District, comprising the
County of Ashburton (except in the areas mentioned in the
Schedule hereto), from the first day of May, one thousand
nine hundred and nineteen, to the thirty-first day of July,
one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, both days in-
clusive.
And I do further notify that the following native game—
viz., paradise duck—may be killed within the above-mentioned
district (except in the areas mentioned in the Schedule hereto)
from the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and
nineteen, to the thirty-first day of May, one thousand nine
hundred and nineteen, both days inclusive.
And I do hereby restrict the number of such native game
that may be killed by any one person in any one day to not
more than twenty head in all.
SCHEDULE.
AREAS WHEREIN NATIVE GAME SHALL NOT BE KILLED.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, being the
two small lakes known as Maori Lakes, situated in the Heron
and Tripp Survey Districts, and the area included in a line
running parallel to and twenty chains distant from the shores
of those lakes. -
All lands notified or set apart as sanctuaries or reserves
for the preservation of imported or native game.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this twenty-eighth day of March, one
thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

Special Shooting Season for Imported and Native Game,
License Fee, &c., Auckland Acclimatization District.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals

Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby exempt from the operation of sec-

game—viz., cock pheasants and Californian and Australian
quail—may be killed within the Auckland Acclimatization
District, comprising all that area bounded towards the
north-west generally by Kaipara Harbour and Otamatea
County, thence towards the north-east by the sea to the
south-western corner of Coromandel County, thence by
Coromandel County to its south-eastern corner, thence
towards the east generally by the sea to the northernmost
corner of Tauranga County, thence by Tauranga County
and Rotorua County to the summit of Puwhenua Mountain,
thence by a right line to the summit of Rangitoto Mountain,
thence by West Taupo County and Kaitieke County to the
north-eastern corner of Whangamomona County, thence
towards the south by Whangamomona County to Clifton
County, thence towards the west and again towards the
south by Clifton County to the sea; and thence again towards
the west generally by the sea to Kaipara Harbour, the
place of commencement, including Great Barrier Island
(except in the areas mentioned in the Schedule hereto),
from the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and
nineteen, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand
nine hundred and nineteen, both days inclusive; and
do hereby restrict the number of cock pheasants that
may be killed by any one person in any one day to twelve.
And I do further notify that licenses to kill such im-
ported game within the said district shall be issued to any
person on payment of the sum of twenty shillings each;
and the Chief Postmasters at Auckland and Thames, and
the Postmasters at Ahuroa, Aria, Avondale, Awakino, Awhitu,
Bombay, Buckland, Cambridge, Clevedon, Devonport, Drury,
East Tamaki, Ellerslie, Frankton Junction, Glen Murray,
Gordonton, Hairini, Hamilton, Hamilton East, Helensville,
Henderson, Hikutai, Hinuera, Hobsonville, Howick, Hunua,
Huntly, Kaipara Flats, Karangahake, Karekare, Kauka-
pakapa, Kawhia, Kihikihi, Kingsland, Kinohaku, Komata,
Kumeu, Leigh, Manawaru, Mangaiti, Mangapehi, Manurewa,
Marakopa, Maramarua, Makatana, Matamata, Matiere,
Mauku, Mercer, Morrinsville, Mount Albert, Newmarket,
Newton, Ngaruawahia, Northcote, Ohaupo, Ohura, Okoroire,
Omahu, Onehunga, Onewhero, Ongaruhe, Otahuhu, Otoro-
hanga, Paeroa, Pakuranga, Papakura, Papatoetoe, Para-
kakau, Paterangi, Patumahoe, Pipiroya, Pirongia, Point
Chevalier, Pokeno, Port Albert, Puhoi, Pukekawa, Pukekohe,
Putaruru, Raglan, Rangiriri, Silverdale, Tahuna, Tairua,
Takapuna, Tangitu, Taupiri, Te Aroha, Te Awamutu, Te
Hana, Te Kuiti, Te Mata, Te Rauamoa, Te Uku, Tirau,
Tuakau, Turua, Waerenga, Waharoa, Waihi, Waihou, Wai-
kino, Waikumete, Waimauku, Waiorongomai, Waitekauri,
Waitoa, Waitomo Caves, Waiuku, Waiwera, Walton, Waotu,
Warkworth, Wellsford, Whatawhata, Whawharua, and Whit-
ford, are hereby appointed to sign and issue the said licenses
to kill imported game.
And I do further notify that the following native game
—viz., grey duck, spoonbill duck, teal, pukeko, and black
swan—may be killed within the above-mentioned district
(except in the areas mentioned in the Schedule hereto)
from the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and
nineteen, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine
hundred and nineteen, both days inclusive; and do hereby
restrict the number of such native game that may be killed
by any one person in any one day to not more than twenty-
five head in all.
