CATTLE TO NEW ZEALAND.
I, [Insert name and qualifications], a Veterinarian in the
employ of the Government of the State of Tasmania, hereby
certify (a) that on the day of , 19 , I
applied the tuberculin test to the animals referred to in
the foregoing declaration, with negative results, as shown
in the dosages and temperature records attached, and (b) that
I have this day examined the animals referred to in the
foregoing declaration and found them free from all infectious
and contagious diseases.

Imposing Conditions on the Sale of Standing Timber and on
the Grant of Licenses to cut Standing Timber.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this eighteenth
day of March, 1919.

IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by subsection six of section thirty-four of
the War Legislation and Statute Law Amendment
Act, 1918 (being part of the State Forests Act, 1908), the Go-
vernor-General in Council is empowered to make regulations
prohibiting the sale of standing timber, or the grant of
licenses to cut standing timber, on public or private lands
of any tenure, except subject to such conditions as may be
prescribed :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers conferred on him as aforesaid, and acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that
Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations for
the purposes aforesaid; and doth hereby declare that these
regulations shall come into force on the date of the publi-
cation thereof in the Gazette.
REGULATIONS.

It shall not be lawful for any person to sell any timber
standing on any public or private land of any tenure, or to
grant a license to cut any timber standing on any such land,
except pursuant to a license issued in that behalf by the
Governor-General in Council. -
Any license issued by the Governor-General in Council
under these regulations may be in like manner revoked. -
Every person who sells any standing timber, or who
grants a license to cut any standing timber, contrary to the
provisions of these regulations commits an offence against
these regulations, and shall be liable for each offence to a
fine of £50.

Levin Fire District constituted.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-
fifth day of March, 1919.

IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section four of the Fire Brigades Act,
1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is pro-
vided that the Governor-General may by Order in Council,
on the application of any Borough Council, declare the
district within the jurisdiction of such Borough Council to
be a fire district under the said Act: And whereas an
application has been made by the Levin Borough Council
in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, and it
appears expedient to grant the said application ;
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said
Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
declare the Borough of Levin to be a fire district under
the said Act.

North-western Side of Portion of Beach Road, Grahamtown,
exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public
Works Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this eighteenth
day of March, 1919.

IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred
and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is,
inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply in
any case where the local authority having control of a
road or street by resolution declares that the provisions
thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or
any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved
by the Governor-General in Council :
And whereas by subsection two of section one hundred
and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, and clause (b)
of subsection one of section thirteen of the Public Works
Amendment Act, 1911, it is provided that such approval may
be either absolute or subject to such conditions with respect
to the building-line as the Governor-General, by Order in
Council, thinks fit to impose, and may refer to one or both
sides of the road or street :
And whereas the Onerahi Town Board, the local authority
having control of the portion of road described in the Schedule
hereto, hereinafter referred to as the said portion of road,
has passed the following resolution, viz. : “It was resolved
that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of
the Public Works Act, 1908, should not apply to the road
frontages of Sections 115, 116, 117, and 118, Grahamtown,
fronting Beach Road” :
And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution
should be approved in so far as it refers to the north-western
side of the said portion of road :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise
of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Acts,
and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve
of the said resolution to the extent hereinbefore mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
The north-western side of all that portion of Beach Road,
Grahamtown, in the Auckland Land District, Onerahi Town
District, abutting on Sections 115, 116, 117, and 118,
Grahamtown. As the said portion of road is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 44799,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured red.
