SCHEDULE.
BRAEBURN DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, and being Section 1, Block IV, Tutaki Survey District. Bounded towards the northward and eastward by continuations of the roads forming respectively the northern and eastern boundaries of Section 2, Block VIII, of the before-mentioned survey district, 636·9 links and 730·7 links respectively; and towards the southward and westward by parts of Section 2 aforesaid, 634·9 links and 849·3 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1477, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Ataahua Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of March, 1919.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the thirtieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Ataahua Domain:
And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen:
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

WALTER FOX PARKINSON,
FRANCIS GREAD, and
JOHN PARKINSON,
as from the thirtieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, to be the Ataahua Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, at half past four o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Ataahua Domain Grounds as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

ATAAHUA DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 3 roods 39 perches, more or less, being reserve numbered 3705, situate in Block III, Ellesmere Survey District, and bounded north-eastward by Lot 1a of Block VII, Reserve 959, 505·7 links; south-eastward by the aforesaid lot, 613·5 links; southward by the main road, Christchurch to Akaroa, 625·5 links; south-westward by Reserve 3704, 364 links; and north-westward by the road forming the south-east boundary of Rural
Sections 34083 and 34085, 962·5 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1095, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink in the margin.

Importation of Cattle from the State of Tasmania.—Notice No. 1957.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this eighteenth day of March, 1919.

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section nineteen of the Stock Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is provided that the Governor-General may from time to time, by Order in Council, make regulations prohibiting or restricting the importation or introduction of stock or of any one or more kinds of stock into New Zealand, either generally or from such countries, colonies, or places, and during such periods, as may appear to him necessary or expedient for the purpose of preventing the introduction into New Zealand of any disease affecting stock:
And whereas by Order in Council dated the fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen (hereinafter referred to as “the said regulations”), the importation into New Zealand of cattle, except from the United Kingdom and Canada, was absolutely prohibited:
And whereas it is deemed expedient to modify the said regulations by permitting the importation of cattle from the State of Tasmania:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations permitting the introduction into New Zealand of cattle from Tasmania, and doth hereby declare that these regulations shall be read together with and form part of the said regulations, and shall come into force on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

REGULATIONS.

SUBJECT to the provisions of the said regulations and to the following conditions, cattle may be introduced into New Zealand from the State of Tasmania.

The consent of the Minister must first be obtained for the introduction of the animals.

Such cattle on arrival in the Dominion shall undergo quarantine for forty days.

Every shipment of such cattle must be accompanied by a statutory declaration in the form No. 1 in the Schedule hereto, made by the shipper of such cattle, setting forth the kind, number, sex, and brands or marks of such cattle, and declaring that all such cattle have been in the State of Tasmania from birth; that they are at the time of shipment, and have been during the preceding six months, free from all infectious and contagious diseases; and that they have not during the six months immediately preceding shipment been in direct or indirect contact with any stock infected with any such disease.

On every such declaration there shall be inscribed a certificate in the form No. 2 in the Schedule hereto, signed by a Government Veterinarian, certifying that he has, within the thirty days immediately preceding the date of shipment to New Zealand, examined and tested with the tuberculin test such cattle, and has found them free from infectious and contagious diseases. Particulars with respect to such test, showing dosages and temperature records, shall be supplied with such certificate.
