Boundaries of Oaonui Irrigation District altered.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this eleventh day of March, 1919.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of section three of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, a majority of the ratepayers in the area described in the First Schedule hereto, situated in the County of Egmont, have presented a petition to His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, praying that the land comprised in the said area be excluded from the Oaonui Irrigation District as constituted under the provisions of the said Act :
And whereas it is expedient to alter the boundaries of such district in manner hereinafter appearing :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in section three of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby alter the boundaries of the said Oaonui Irrigation District by excluding from such district the area of land described in the said petition and in the First Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby declare that the boundaries of the said district, with such exclusion as herein provided for, shall be those described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
AREA EXCLUDED FROM OAONUI IRRIGATION DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District known as Subdivision 30, Ngatitara Block, containing 192 acres 3 roods 20 perches, and situated in Block VII, Opunake Survey District.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
OAONUI IRRIGATION DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District bounded by a line commencing at the mouth of the Koteoteo Stream ; thence along the seashore to the western boundary of Section 6, Block XV, Opunake Survey District, and along the western boundary of that section to its north-western corner, along the northern boundary of that section and of Section 5 to its north-eastern corner ; thence along a right line to the intersection of the eastern side of the South Road with the northern side of Hitona Road, along the northern side of that road to the southernmost corner of Section 21, Subdivision 3, Ngatitara Block, along the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of that subdivision to and across the Oaonui Stream, along the right bank of that stream to Subdivision 30, Ngatitara Block ; thence along the south-western boundary of that subdivision to the Arawhata Road, across and by that road to the north-eastern side of Subdivision 16, Ngatikahumate Block ; along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of that subdivision and the south-eastern boundaries of Subdivisions 14, 12, 10, 8, and part of the south-western boundary of the said Subdivision 8 ; along the south-eastern boundaries of Subdivisions 6 and 4 and the south-western boundary of Subdivision 5, Ngatikahumate Block, to and across Opua Road ; along the south-eastern side of that road to and along the eastern side of South Road, to and across the Koteoteo Stream, and along the left bank of that stream to the sea, the place of commencement.

Declaring Ruakituri Valley Road, in Tuahu Survey District, Wairoa County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in Hawke’s Bay Land District, Wairoa County, known as the Ruakituri Valley Road, commencing at a point about 20 chains west of the south-west corner of Tuahu Native Reserve, Section 1, Block 20, Tuahu Survey District, and extending thence generally in a north-westerly and then northerly direction, adjoining or passing through part Small Grazing-run No. 86, Block 12A, Tuahu Survey District, to a point about 20 chains south of the forest-reserve boundary in the said Block 12A, Tuahu Survey District, being a distance of 2 miles 55 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 45558, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Lands other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this eleventh day of March, 1919.

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of six months the Order in Council dated the twenty-fifth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and gazetted the twenty-eighth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, prohibiting all alienation of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.
