Extending Time for holding General Election of Members of the Inter-Wanganui River Board.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this eleventh day of March, 1919.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section twenty-seven of the River Boards Act, 1908, it is provided that the general election of members of the various River Boards throughout the Dominion shall be held on the second Tuesday in January:
And whereas it is expedient to extend the time for holding such election of members of the Inter-Wanganui River Board:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by section twenty-four of the Local Elections and Polls Amendment Act, 1913, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby extend the time for holding the general election of members for the Inter-Wanganui River District; and doth hereby order and declare that in the aforesaid river district the said general election shall be held and take place on Monday, the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this eleventh day of March, 1919.

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of six months the Order in Council dated the eighteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and gazetted the twenty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, prohibiting all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of six months the Order in Council dated the eighteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and gazetted the twenty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, prohibiting all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, and by section one hundred and eleven of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 (as amended by section eight of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1916), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of eighteen months the Order in Council dated the twenty-fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and gazetted the twenty-seventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, prohibiting all alienation of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council, all alienation of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.
