NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between FREDERICK JAMES HUTTON, of Gore, Motor Engineer, and MARY HOLLAND, Wife of James Holland, of Gore, Farmer, carrying on business as Motor-garage Proprietors at Gore, under the style or firm of “Hutton and Holland,” has been dissolved as from the 1st day of November, 1919.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately subsisting between us as Costume-manufacturers, under the style of “Critchley and Jacobson,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the sixth day of December, 1919.

All moneys owing to and all debts owing by the late firm will be respectively received and paid by FREDERICK HUBERT CRITCHLEY, who will carry on the business under the style of “Critchley and Co.”

KIWITEA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.—BRYCE’S LINE SPECIAL RATING DISTRICT.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Kiwitea County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000 (one thousand pounds) sterling, authorized to be raised by the Kiwitea County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing the cost of forming and metalling about 145 chains of Bryce’s Line, the said Kiwitea County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one halfpenny in the pound sterling upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Bryce’s Line Special Rating Area, comprising part Lot 15, Lots 16/21, 24, 25, Makonui Subdivision; Lot 1, Wharekoa Subdivision; Block I, Pohangina S.D.; and part Sections 191 and 192, Block IV, Oroua S.D. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wakamarina Miners’ Accident Relief Association, Register No. 347, held at Deep Creek, Wakamarina, is dissolved by instrument registered at this office the fifth day of December, 1919, unless, within three months from the date of the Gazette in which this advertisement appears, proceedings be commenced by a member or other person interested in or having a claim on the funds of the society to set aside such dissolution, and the same be set aside accordingly.

HOROWHENUA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Horowhenua County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £1,600, authorized to be raised by the Horowhenua County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for road-construction through the Kawiu Block, the said Horowhenua County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five-eighths of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Kawiu Block Special Rating District, comprising Horowhenua B 36, Sections A 2A, A 2B, A 3; 1B No. 1, 1B No. 2, and 1B 3; 3F; 3G No. 1, 3G No. 2A, and 3G 3; 3H, 3H 2, 3H 2A, 3H 3, 3H 4; 2J, 2J 2; 2K; 2L, 2L 4, 2L 5, and 2L 6; 2L A, 2L 1C, 2L 1D, 2L 1E; Mairua Lots 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, 33, 34, and 35; Manawatu-Kukutauaki 7D 3, Sections 6 and 7, Lots 55B, 55C, 60A, 61, and 64, Blocks I Waiopenu, XIII Mt. Robinson, and IV Moutere. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the Horowhenua County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for supplying water from the Levin Borough high-pressure system to properties within the Kawiu Road Water-supply Special Rating District, the said Horowhenua County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and one-third pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Kawiu Road Water-supply Special Rating District, comprising Horowhenua B 36, Sections 1C 1, 1C 2, 1C 2A, 1C 2C, 4C; part 1D 4D; 1E 1A, 1E 1B, 1E 2, 1E 3, 1E 4A, and 1E 5; Blocks I Waiopenu and XIII Mt. Robinson. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned, THOMSON BARNES, ROBERT WHITELAW, and WILLIAM CARTER, carrying on business as Storekeepers at Kamo under the style or firm of “Barnes, Whitelaw, and Co.,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the thirtieth day of September, 1919.

All debts due to and owing by the late firm will be received and paid respectively by ROBERT WHITELAW, who will continue to carry on the said business under the style or firm of “R. Whitelaw and Co.”
