in the Waitakere Riding of the County of Waitemata, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Waitakere Riding, comprising the whole of the area within the limits of the Waitakere Riding of the County of Waitemata; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of June and the first day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

KAWHIA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Kawhia County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £4,000, authorized to be raised by the Kawhia County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of metalling the Kawhia-Opārau Road, the said Kawhia County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence and three-eighths of a penny (2¾d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Kawhia-Opārau Special Rating Area, comprising the whole of the Kawhia Riding and that portion of the Opārau Riding included within the following boundaries: Commencing at Trig. Station R in Block VI, Kawhia North S.D.; towards the north-west generally by the Matakowhai Riding to the north-west corner of Section 3, Block VII, Kawhia North S.D.; thence towards the east by the said Section 3 and Section 2; towards the south by Pirongia West No. 3B Section 2G and No. 3B Section 2F; again towards the east by the said No. 3B Section 2F to the Opārau River; towards the south and west generally by the said river and the Kawhia Harbour to the boundary of the Kawhia Riding; thence towards the west generally by the said Kawhia Riding to the point of commencement.

And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 17th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

KAWHIA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Kawhia County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £1,500, authorized to be raised by the Kawhia County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of metalling portion of the Okupata-Pekanui Road, the said Kawhia County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-sixteenths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property of the Opārau Riding of the Kawhia County; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 17th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—CHANNELLING AND ASPHALTING LOAN NO. 2.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Waimairi County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £10,000, authorized to be raised by the Waimairi County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing concrete channels and asphalt footpaths in the Riding of Papanui, being in the County of Waimairi, the said Waimairi County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 14/64ths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Channelling and Asphalting Special Rating Area; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

All that area of land in the County of Waimairi, comprising Rural Sections 135, 304, R 64, and part of Rural Sections 151, 203, and 307, contained within boundaries commencing at a point on the Papanui Road at its intersection with Norman’s Road, being the junction of the Waimairi County with the City of Christchurch; thence north-westerly along the centre of Papanui Road to a point one chain south-east from Grant’s Road; thence along the southern boundary of Lot 8; thence southerly along the south-west boundary of Lot 48; thence to the south-west corner thereof; thence north-easterly along the south-east boundary of Lots 48, 47, 46, 45, 44, 43, 42, 41, 40, and thence to the south-east corner of Lot 40; thence north-west along the north-east boundary of Lot 40 to the south-west corner of Lot 39; thence along the south-east boundary of Lot 39 to the centre of Ingmire Road; thence north-west along the centre of Ingmire Road to its intersection with the centre of Grant’s Road; thence north-easterly along the centre-line of Grant’s Road to its intersection with the north-east boundary of R.S. 304; thence north-west along the said north-east boundary of R.S. 304 to the centre of the North Road; thence south-westerly along the centre of the North Road to its intersection with the centre of Langdon’s Road; thence north-westerly along the centre of Langdon’s Road to its intersection with the north-west boundary of land shown on D.P. 587, and south-westerly along the said north-west boundary of D.P. 587 to the centre of Harewood Road; thence south-easterly along the centre of Harewood Road to its intersection with the north-west boundary of Reserve 64; thence south-westerly along Reserve 64 to the north-east boundary of land shown on D.P. 377; thence south-easterly along the north-east boundaries of Lots 29, 27, 26, 25, 24, 23, 22, D.P. 377, to the south-east corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence south-westerly along the south-east boundary of the last-mentioned lot to the centre of James Avenue; thence north-westerly along the centre of James Avenue to its intersection with the south-east boundary of Lot 37; thence south-east and north-west and south-westerly along the boundaries of Lots 37, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 68, to the centre of Park Road; thence south-easterly along the centre of Park Road to its intersection with the centre of Bligh’s Road; thence south-westerly along the centre of Bligh’s Road to its intersection with the south-west boundary of R.S. 135; thence south-easterly along the said western boundary of R.S. 135 to its intersection with the centre of Norman’s Road; thence north-easterly along the centre of Norman’s Road to its intersection with the centre-line of Nursery Road; thence north-westerly along the centre of Nursery Road to its intersection with the north-west boundary of Lot 18, shown on D.P. 3590; thence north-easterly along the north-west boundary of Lot 18 and part of Lot 1 to a line in continuation of the south-west boundary of Lot 2; thence south-easterly along the last-mentioned line and the south-west boundaries of Lots 2, 3, 4, and 5 to the south-east boundary of the last-mentioned lot; thence north-east and south-east along the boundaries of Lots 5 and 6 to the centre of Norman’s Road; thence south-easterly along the centre of Norman’s Road to the starting-point.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Waimairi County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £6,000, authorized to be raised by the Waimairi County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purchase of land in Papanui and building a town hall and library, the said Waimairi County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 10/64ths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Papanui Town Hall and Library Special Rating Area, comprising the Papanui Riding and part of Marshland, Harewood, and Wai-rarapa, the whole being in the County of Waimairi; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
