Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl
of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of section eighty of
the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities in
anywise enabling me in this behalf, do by this notice
hereby close the road hereinafter described; and I do
hereby declare that the said road shall thereupon become
subject to the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
MANGAOTAMA SETTLEMENT.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road to be closed: 2 acres
1 rood 30 perches.
Adjoining or passing through part Sections 196, 199, 250,
and 344, and Sections 198A and 250A, Tuhikaramea Parish,
Block XII, Alexandra Survey District.
In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 21/178,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green. (Auck-
land plan No. 20660.)
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this ninth day of December, one thousand
nine hundred and nineteen.

Declaring Road-lines through Land in Puahue Settlement,
Auckland Land District, to be closed.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
WHEREAS a report has been received from the Sur-
veyor-General, from which it appears that the road
described in the Schedule hereto is unformed and unused,
and that the said road intersects land acquired under the
Land for Settlements Act, 1908, and is not suitable to the
subdivision of such land :

of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of section eighty of
the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities in
anywise enabling me in this behalf, do by this notice
hereby close the road hereinafter described; and I do

subject to the said Act.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—PUAHUE SETTLEMENT.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road to be closed: 1 rood
25 perches.
Passing through Puahue No. 2 No. 12 and Puahue No. 2
No. 13 Blocks, situated in Block VIII, Puniu Survey Dis-
trict.
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 21/165,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this ninth day of December, one thousand
nine hundred and nineteen.

Removing Protection from certain Imported Birds.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in me by the Animals
Protection Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby declare that the imported birds
mentioned in the Schedule hereto, not being game of any
kind under the said Act, may be taken or killed within the
Hawke’s Bay Acclimatization District.

Officers authorized to convene Courts-martial and to confirm
Findings and Sentences thereof.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section thirteen of the Defence Amendment Act, 1912,
I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby authorize the undermentioned officers to convene
general or district courts-martial for the trial under that
Act of such persons subject to military law as are for the
time being under or within the territorial limits of their
command; and empower such officers to confirm the findings
and sentences of general or district courts-martial, whether
passed before or after the issue of this Warrant :—

N.Z. Staff Corps, while commanding a military dis-

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the
two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices
of the Peace Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the persons
set out in the Schedule hereto, being persons holding the
office of Postmaster under the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908,
at the places set opposite their names in the said Schedule,
are authorized to take and receive statutory declarations
under the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the
Justices of the Peace Act, 1908.
