Appointments, Promotions, Resignations, and Transfers of Officers of the N.Z. Staff Corps, the Regiment of Royal N.Z. Artillery, and Territorial Force.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, resignations, and transfers of the undermentioned officers of the N.Z. Staff Corps, the Regiment of Royal N.Z. Artillery, N.Z. Army Ordnance Department, and Territorial Force, and the reposting of officers from the N.Z. Expeditionary Force to the N.Z. Staff Corps and Territorial Force.
APPOINTMENTS AND PROMOTIONS.
COMMANDS.
Lieutenant-Colonel Alfred Bartlett relinquishes the command of the 3rd (Auckland) Regiment (Countess of Ranfurly’s Own), and is posted to the Retired List, under the provisions of paragraph 126, General Regulations, 1913, with permission to retain his rank and wear the prescribed uniform. Dated 4th November, 1919.
Major Edwin Gordon Fraser is appointed to command (temporarily) the 3rd (Auckland) Regiment (Countess of Ranfurly’s Own). Dated 5th November, 1919.
Lieutenant-Colonel Edmund William Porritt relinquishes the command of the 6th (Hauraki) Regiment, and is posted to the Retired List, with the honorary rank of Colonel. Dated 11th November, 1919.
N.Z. STAFF CORPS.
Lieutenant Thomas Martin Wilkes, M.C., to be Captain, under the provisions of paragraph 112 (11), General Regulations, 1913, with seniority next below Captain W. M. Bell. Dated 1st August, 1919.
6TH (MANAWATU) MOUNTED RIFLES.
The notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 56, of 8th May, 1918, relating to Major George Dacre Hamilton resigning his commission on transfer to the Royal Engineers, is cancelled.

Company Sergeant-Major Samuel Michael Grayden Simpson to be 2nd Lieutenant. Dated 5th November, 1919.
6TH (HAURAKI) REGIMENT.
Major (Lieutenant-Colonel, Reserve of Officers, Temporary) Robert Candlish Allen, D.S.O., to be Lieutenant-Colonel, and is appointed to command the regiment. Dated 12th November, 1919.
N.Z. DENTAL CORPS.
Lieutenant (temp. Captain) John Hallam Don ceases to be temporarily attached to the staff of the Air Force Adviser, and relinquishes the temporary rank of Captain. Dated 30th November, 1919.
With reference to the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 124, of 16th October, 1919, relating to Captain Robert Bevan Dodds reported to the corps, for the word “Captain” read “Lieutenant (late Captain, N.Z.E.F.).”
