SCHEDULE.
DENNISTON DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres, more or less, being Section 5, Block VI, Kawatiri Survey District. Commencing at a point situated 1877·6 links south and 7143·2 links east of Trig. Station H in Block VI before mentioned, and bounded by lines the bearings and linkages of which are as follows—231° 58′, 750 links; 321° 58′, 800 links; 51° 58′, 750 links; and 141° 58′, 800 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid bearings and linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/89, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The North-western Side of Portions of Centre Road, the South-western Side of Portion of Riccarton Road, and the North-eastern Side of Portion of Owhiro-Gladfield Road, in the Taieri County, exempted from the provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of November, 1919.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is, inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply in any case where the local authority having control of a road or street by resolution declares that the provisions thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved by the Governor-General in Council:
And whereas by subsection two of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, and clause (b) of subsection one of section thirteen of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, it is provided that such approval may be either absolute or subject to such conditions with respect to the building-line as the Governor-General by Order in Council thinks fit to impose, and may refer to one or both sides of the road or street:
And whereas the Taieri County Council, the local authority having control of the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto, hereinafter referred to as the said portions of roads, has passed the following resolution—viz., “Resolved that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that portion of Centre Road (so far as the north-west side thereof is concerned) fronting Section 4, Block VIII, East Taieri Survey District, for a distance of 1500 links between Section 5 and Section 3 of said block; nor to that portion of Centre Road (so far as the north-west side thereof is concerned) fronting part of Section 1 of the said Block VIII extending from Riccarton Road south-west for a distance of 1000 links; nor to that portion of Riccarton Road (so far as the south-west side thereof is concerned) fronting Sections 1 and 7, Block VIII, East Taieri Survey District, extending from Centre Road to Dukes Road, a distance of 7000 links; nor to that portion of Owhiro-Gladfield Road (so far as the north-east side thereof is concerned) fronting Section 12, Block VIII, East Taieri Survey District, between Dukes Road and Section 6 of said Block VIII, a distance of 3500 links”:
And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution should be approved, subject to the condition hereinafter mentioned:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Acts, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolution, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall be erected at any time on the north-western, the south-western, and north-eastern sides of the said portions of roads within a distance of thirty-three feet of the centre-line of the said portions of roads.
SCHEDULE.
THE north-western side of the portions of Centre Road, situated in the Otago Land District, Taieri County, adjoining Sections 1 and 4, Block VIII, East Taieri District.
The south-western side of portion of Riccarton Road, situated in the said land district and county, adjoining Sections 1 and 7, Block VIII, East Taieri District.
The north-eastern side of portion of Owhiro-Gladfield Road, situated in the said land district and county, adjoining Section 12, Block VIII, East Taieri District.
As the said portions of roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 46566, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

And whereas the Taieri County Council, the local authority having control of the north-western and south-eastern sides of portions of Dukes Road described in the Schedule hereto, hereinafter referred to as the said portions of road, has passed the following resolutions—viz., “Resolved that in the matter of the proposed subdividing into allotments for the purpose of sale of parts of Sections 1 and 2, Block XI, East Taieri Survey District, and contained in Deeds Registry, Vol. 172, folio 173, as submitted by James Logie, the Taieri County Council hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that specified portion of the existing district road known as Dukes Road to which the allotments of the proposed subdivision have frontages on their south-eastern side . . . ; . . . nor to that portion of Dukes Road (so far as the south-east side thereof is concerned) fronting Sections 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, Block VIII, East Taieri Survey District, extending from Riccarton Road to the Owhiro-Gladfield Road, a distance of 9000 links . . . ”:
And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolutions should be approved:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolutions.

As the said portions of road are more particularly delineated on the plans marked P.W.D. 46567 and 46566, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and blue respectively.
