WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL.

SPECIAL ORDER.—ELMWOOD PARK LOAN.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Waimairi County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in
respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on
a loan of £1,200, authorized to be raised by the Waimairi
County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913,
for the purpose of purchasing Elmwood Park in conjunction
with the City of Christchurch, the Waimairi County Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of 7/64ths of a penny
in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable properties in the Elmwood Park Special Rating Area, comprising part of the Papanui and Wairarapa Ridings; and that
such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the
first day of March and the first day of September in each
and every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid
off.

Boundaries of Special Rating Area.

All that area of land in the County of Waimairi, being
Rural Section 135 and parts of Rural Sections 276, 2382,
453, 242, and 143, in the Christchurch Survey District, commencing at a point on the Papanui Road at its intersection
with May’s Road, being the junction of the Waimairi County
Council with the City of Christchurch; thence north-easterly
along the Waimairi boundary of May’s Road to its intersection with the centre-line of Scotston Avenue; thence
along the centre-line of Scotston Avenue, Tomes Road,
and Papanui Road to its intersection with the centre-line
of Bligh’s Road; thence along the centre-lines of Bligh’s
Road, Idris Road, Wroxton Terrace, and Garden Road to
Wairarapa Terrace; thence northerly along Wairarapa
Terrace and the eastern boundary of the Waimairi County
to Norman’s Road; thence north-easterly along Norman’s
Road, being the boundary between the Waimairi County and
the City of Christchurch, to the starting-point.

NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the
company will be held at 8 p.m. on the 9th December,
1919, at Morven, in order that I may lay before the meeting
an account showing the manner in which the winding-up of
the company has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and offer any explanation that may be
required.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.—LOAN OF £35,000.—
RUANUI RIDING.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and
of all other powers (if any) it hereunto enabling, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the special loan
of thirty-five thousand pounds (£35,000), authorized to be
raised by the Rangitikei County Council, under the abovementioned Act, for the purpose of metalling for the first
time roads within the Ruanui Riding of the Rangitikei
County, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of one penny and one-fourth of
a penny (1¼d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value
(on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property
in the Ruanui Riding of the Rangitikei County; and that
such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the
first day of May in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half,
or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at
a duly constituted meeting of the Rangitikei County Council
held on Thursday, the 30th day of October, 1919.

DANNEVIRKE CO-OPERATIVE ASSOCIATION (LTD.).

IN LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following special
resolution was passed at a meeting held on the 10th
October, 1919, and duly confirmed at a subsequent meeting
held on the 31st October, 1919:—
“That the company be wound up voluntarily; and that
SEPTIMUS ASHCROFT, of Dannevirke, Company Manager, be
appointed Liquidator.”

CHANGE OF NAME.

I, RICHARD FELLOWES, of Cambridge, in New Zealand,
Hotel Manager, heretofore called and known by the
name of ISAIAH FELLOWES, hereby give public notice that on
the eighteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and
nineteen, I formally and absolutely renounced, relinquished,
and abandoned the use of my said Christian name of ISAIAH,
and then assumed and adopted and determined thenceforth
on all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of
RICHARD FELLOWES instead of the said name of ISAIAH
FELLOWES; and I further give notice that by a deed-poll
dated the eighteenth day of August, one thousand nine
hundred and nineteen, duly executed and attested and
enrolled in the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Hamilton
on the sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred
and nineteen, I formally and absolutely renounced and
abandoned the said Christian name of ISAIAH, and declared
that I had assumed and adopted and intended thenceforth
upon all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name
of RICHARD FELLOWES instead of ISAIAH FELLOWES, and so
as to be at all times hereafter called, known, and described
by the name of RICHARD FELLOWES exclusively.
