PATANGATA COUNTY COUNCIL.

EXTRACT FROM THE MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS AT A MEETING HELD ON THE 9TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1919.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Patangata County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Patangata County Council Porangahau Traffic-bridge Reconstruction Loan of £4,000, 1919, authorized to be raised by the Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of paying for reconstruction of the Porangahau Traffic-bridge in the Porangahau Riding of the Patangata County, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fourteenth (1/14th) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Porangahau Riding in the Patangata County; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st days of June and December in each year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Patangata was hereto affixed at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of the Patangata County Council, in the presence of—

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Patangata County Council’s £12,000 Loan, 1919, authorized to be raised by the Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of paying the Council’s share of the re-erection of the Waipukurau Traffic-bridge in reinforced concrete (£3,000), and purchasing road-making plant, erecting buildings for housing plant, &c., and acquisition of land for a works site (£9,000), the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one twenty-third of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Patangata County; and that such special rate shall be annually recurring during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st days of June and December in each year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Patangata County Council Bridge Reconstruction Loan of £9,000, 1919, authorized to be raised by the Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of re-erecting in reinforced concrete the Patangata Bridge in the Oero Riding of the Patangata County, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of four twenty-firsts of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Oero Riding in the Patangata County; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st days of June and December during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

FEILDING BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest and other charges on a loan of £3,000, authorized to be raised by the said Council, under the above Act, for extending the drainage system of the Borough of Feilding, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seventeen one-hundred-twenty-eighths (17/128) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Feilding; and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
We hereby certify that the above is a true copy of and a correct extract from the minutes of proceedings of the Feilding Borough Council at the meeting above mentioned.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of the MANAWATU CO-OPERATIVE DAIRY COMPANY (LIMITED).

AT a special general meeting of the shareholders of the above-named company held on Monday, the 1st day of September, 1919, the following resolution was duly passed; and such resolution was duly confirmed at a subsequent meeting held on Monday, the 15th day of September, 1919:—
“That the Manawatu Co-operative Dairy Company (Limited) go into voluntary liquidation, and that three separate companies be formed at Rangiotu, Tiakitahuna, and Bainesse respectively for the purpose of taking over the assets and liabilities of the existing company at valuation.”
At the said meeting held on the 15th day of September, 1919, by resolution duly passed, ARCHIE HENRY GRANT, Accountant, Palmerston North, was appointed Liquidator.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—MANAIA SPECIAL RATING AREA.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Whangarei County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £9,000, authorized to be raised by the Whangarei County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming, bridging, and metalling the Whangarei—Whangarei Heads Road, the said Whangarei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny and five-eighths of a penny (1⅝d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the special rating area in the Manaia Riding, comprising all that area within the following boundary-lines: Commencing at
