the N.W. corner of Section 1, Parish of Parahaki, Block IX, Whangarei S.D., then along north-west boundary of Sections 2 and 94, western boundary of Sections 91 and 90, along north boundary of Sections 90 and 10, and N.E. 14, north and eastern boundary of Sections 7 and 8, 14 and 20, Parish of Wariara; thence by southern boundary of Sections 212 and 205 of Block X, Whangarei S.D.; thence by road between said Section 205 and Section 201, and along western boundary of Sections 202, 203, and 204 of said block and S.D.; thence along northern boundary of said 204 and Section 193; thence along north-western boundary of E.R. 100; thence along north boundary of forest reserve to its junction with Section 11 of Block XI, Whangarei S.D., along the north-eastern boundary of said Section 11 to northern boundary of “Thorn’s Grant” O.L.C. No. 250; thence along said northern boundary to and along southern boundary of 3795A to the sea-coast; thence by sea-coast, taking in the Island Pataua 3945, to Bream Head, along the coast to Busby Head, along the Whangarei Harbour boundary including Motu Kiore and Limestone Islands, and continuing along harbour boundary to Waimahanga; thence along the south-western and southern boundaries of Whangarei Harbour endowments to starting-point at north-western corner of Section 1, Parish of Parahaki.
And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION.
THE following regulations were laid before the members of the Pahiatua Racing Club at a meeting held on the 2nd day of September, 1919, at 8 p.m., with a recommendation by the Chairman of the Club, Mr. James McCardle, that the same be passed at once with a view to their approval by the Governor-General, in pursuance of the Gaming Act, 1908, section 33.
Mr. James McCardle, the Chairman of the Club and the Meeting, moved, and Mr. Peter Thomson seconded, and it was resolved, that such regulations should be adopted, and that the Chairman be authorized to sign the same in authentication thereof.
The following are the regulations referred to:—
PAHIATUA RACING CLUB.
REGULATIONS.
(Under the Gaming Act, 1908.)
In pursuance and exercise of the powers in that behalf contained in section 33 of the Gaming Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities it enabling in that behalf, the Pahiatua Racing Club, a racing club within the meaning of the said Act (hereinafter referred to as “the said club”), doth hereby revoke the regulations dated the 4th day of September, 1917, and in lieu thereof doth hereby make the following regulations controlling the admission of persons to that part of the Pahiatua Racecourse situated in the District of Pahiatua, and known as the Pahiatua Racecourse, while the said racecourse is used or occupied by the said club for race meetings.

These regulations shall come into force on the date of the same being published in the New Zealand Gazette.

In these regulations the words “bookmaker,” “racing club,” and “race meeting” shall have the meanings ascribed to those terms respectively by section 2 of the Gaming Act, 1908.

The following persons shall be and are hereby excluded from the racecourse above described while the same is used or occupied by the said club for a race meeting, namely,—
(a.) Bookmakers.
(b.) Bookmakers’ clerks, bookmakers’ assistants, and bookmakers’ agents.
(c.) All persons under disqualification inflicted by any racing or trotting club in the Dominion of New Zealand, the Commonwealth of Australia, or elsewhere, if affiliated to the New Zealand Racing Conference, or the New Zealand Trotting Association, or the New Zealand Trotting Conference.
(d.) Common prostitutes, and persons who habitually consort with thieves or with persons who have no lawful visible means of support.
(e.) Professional tipsters, persons convicted of house-breaking or pocket-picking, forgery, uttering or possessing counterfeit coin, theft, false pretences, receiving stolen goods, mischief, assault, or any offence or crime of any kind under the Crimes Act, 1908, and also idle and disorderly persons, rogues and vagabonds, and incorrigible rogues convicted under the Police Offences Act, 1908, and persons convicted of an offence under the Gaming Act, 1908.
The foregoing regulations of the Pahiatua Racing Club were made and passed by the Pahiatua Racing Club on the 2nd day of September, 1919, and signed by the Chairman and Secretary.

THE following regulations were laid before the members of the Opunake Racing Club at a meeting held on the 29th day of August, 1919, at Opunake, with a recommendation by the Chairman of the Club, Mr. Alan Good, that the same be passed at once with a view to their approval by the Governor-General, in pursuance of the Gaming Act, 1908, section 33.
Mr. Alan Good, the Chairman of the Club and the Meeting, moved, and Mr. G. Barr-Brown seconded, and it was resolved, that such regulations should be adopted, and that the Chairman be authorized to sign the same in authentication thereof.
The following are the regulations referred to:—
