Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Nuhaka 2D 2N 7D Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa on Thursday, the 16th day of October, 1919, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That the Nuhaka 2D 2L 7D Block be leased to Te Teira Meihana for a period of ten years at a yearly rental per acre of 5s. 6d.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Whataroa Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa on Thursday, the 16th day of October, 1919, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That a lease of the Whataroa Block be granted to Hororiri Meiha, of Frasertown, for a term of twenty-one years, at a rental equal to 5 per centum per annum on the present Government valuation, with a right to compensation for improvements effected by the lessee during the term of his lease.”
NOTE.—Government valuation, £1,583.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Kahaatureia A Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa on Thursday, the 16th day of October, 1919, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That the Kahaatureia A Block or part thereof be sold to Mary Vaughan, the wife of Fred Vaughan, of Tahaenui, Nuhaka, sheep-farmer, at the present Government valuation.”
NOTE.—Government capital value is £1,030. Owner’s interest, £540; lessee’s interest, £490. Valuation based on 196 acres.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Taumataoteo No. 12A Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa on Thursday, the 16th day of October, 1919, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That the Taumataoteo No. 12A Block be leased to Kingi Winiata, contractor, of Wairoa, Hawke’s Bay, at a yearly rental of £2 per acre for a term of ten years.”

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES.

LEASE No. 4739, of the block situated at Te Kuiti called Pukenui No. 2T, from JAMES ANDERSON and JAMES CLELAND HALL SOMERVILLE to PATRICK JOHN QUIRK:

The lessor having re-entered and recovered possession of the above land for non-payment of rent, it is my intention to notify such re-entry upon the Register at the expiration of one month from the 25th day of September, 1919.
