THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixteenth
of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rate-
able property of the Muriwai No. 2 Special Rating District,
comprising Sections 5, 8, 9, Arai Settlement, Block IX,
Turanganui S.D. ; Lots 1, 2, Pakowhai, Blocks XII, Patutahi
S.D., and IX, Turanganui S.D. ; Lot 3, Pakowhai, and closed
road, Blocks XII and XVI, Patutahi S.D.; Maraetaha ld
(Kopua), Blocks IV, Nuhaka North S.D., and I, Paritu S.D. ;
Lot 4, Maraetaha, Blocks XVI, Patutahi S.D., and IV, Nuhaka
North S.D.;Lots 5, 31/3, Maraetaha and Te Kuri, Blocks
XIII, Turanganui S.D., and I, Paritu S.D.; Lot 1, Maraeta-
taha, Blocks XVI, Patutahi S.D., and XIII, Turanganui S.D. ;
Maraetaha Lot 2, Block XVI, Patutahi S.D.; Maraetaha 1A,
lB, 1c, Block I, Paritu S.D.; Te Kuri No. 1, 1A, 1B, 2A,
2B, 2c, Block IX, Turanganui S.D.; Lot 1, Pakowhai, Block
IX, Turanganui S.D.; Lots 13/16, 18/21, Maraetaha, Block
XIII, Lot 16A, Block XIII, Sub. 2 Maraetaha Blocks XIII
and IX, Lots 10, 34/9, 43/61, Maraetaha and Te Kuri Blocks
IX and XIII, Lots 6/9, 28, Maractaha and Te Kuri Blocks X,
XIII, and XIV, Lots 3, 11, 12, 17, 22/7, 29/30, 40/42,
Blocks XIII and IX, part Pakowhai Block IX, Tangotete
Nos. 1 and 2, Block IX, all in the Turanganui S.D. And
that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first
day of July in each and every year during a period equal to
the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a
half years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of
interest to be four and a half per cent.

The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and In-
habitants of the County of Cook was hereto affixed in the

TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913,
and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the
Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of in-
terest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Taranaki
County Council Omata Riding Special Roading Loan of
£4,500, 1919, authorized to be raised by the Council, under
the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of reconstructing,
widening, and generally improving the roads within the
Omata Riding of the said county (£4,165) and the purchase
of the necessary plant (£335), the said Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of seven-sixteenths of a penny in
the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of
the capital value) of all rateable property in the Omata
Riding of the said county; and that such special rate shall
be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of May in each
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of
twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913,
and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the
Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of in-
terest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Taranaki
County Council Waitara Riding Special Roading Loan of
£12,200, 1919, authorized to be raised by the Council, under
the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of reconstructing,
widening, and generally improving roads within the Waitara
Riding bf the said county (£11,250) and the purchase of the
necessary plant (£950), the said Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of thirteen twenty-seconds of a penny
in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of
the capital value) of all rateable property in the Waitara
Riding of the said county; and that such special rate shall
be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of May in each
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of
twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

County Council hereby resolves as follows :
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of

County Council Mangorei Riding Special Loan of £6,900,
1919, authorized to be raised by the Council, under the
above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of reconstructing,
widening, and generally improving the roads within the
Mangorei Riding of the said county (£6,515) and the purchase
of the necessary plant (£385), the said Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of thirteen twenty-fourths of a penny
in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of
the capital value) of all rateable property in the Mangorei
Riding of the said county; and that such special rate shall
be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of May in each
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of
twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

of the necessary plant (£602), the said Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of thirteen-sixteenths of a penny in
the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the
capital value) of all rateable property in the Okato Riding
of the said county; and that such special rate shall be an
annually recurring rate during the currenc of such loan,
and be payable yearly on the first day of May in each year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty
(20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:-
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the
Waitemata County Council, under the above-mentioned Act,
and more particularly by section 69 of the Public Health
Act, 1908, for the purpose of defraying the cost of the con-
struction of a drainage system for the drainage of the Parakai
Sewerage Special Loan Area, the said Waitemata County
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-
eighths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all
rateable property of the said Parakai Sewerage Special Loan
Area, comprising all that area in the Auckland Land Dis-
trict, containing 58 acres 1 rood 25 perches, being parts of
Sections 5, 1A, 2, and 6, of Block 14, of the Survey District
of Kaipara, bounded, commencing at the south-eastern corner
of Section 5, on the south by a public road to the western
boundary of Lot 1 of a subdivision of Section 5; thence
on the west and south-west by the western boundary of the
said Lot 1, and by a right line parallel to the Parkhurst
Main Road, 3565 links, touching the most westerly point
of the land described in certificate of title, Volume 250,
folio 259, in the Land Transfer Office at Auckland; thence
on the north-west by a right line at right angles to and across
the said main road; thence on the north by a right line pro-
duced eastward and westward from the northern boundary
of the lots shown on deposited plan No. 10179 in the Land
Transfer Office at Auckland, to the road which follows the
