is appointed Group Commander, Group No. 17, Auckland
Military District. Dated 5th April, 1919.
Lieutenant (temp. Major) Robert Logan, N.Z. Staff Corps,
is appointed Area Officer, Blenheim, Canterbury Military
District. Dated 15th July, 1919.
The notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 88,
of 17th July, 1919, relating to Major (temp.) Daniel James
Sweetzer, is cancelled, and the following substituted :--
Major (temp.) Daniel James Sweetzer relinquishes the
appointment of Camp Commandant, Trentham Military
Camp, dated 1st June, 1919, and is demobilized and
posted to the Retired List with the honorary rank of
Lieutenant-Colonel. Dated 30th June, 1919.
Major (temp.) Thomas Farr, D.S.O., M.C., the Regiment of
Royal N.Z. Artillery, relinquishes the appointment of
Adjutant, Wellington Field Artillery Brigade, dated 26th
June, 1919, and is appointed Staff Officer to the Director
of Field Artillery. Dated 27th June, 1919.
Major George Searight Hardy, 8th (South Canterbury)
Mounted Rifles, relinquishes the appointment of Area
Officer, Blenheim, together with the rank and pay of
Captain. Dated 19th July, 1919.
The notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 88,
of 17th July, 1919, relating to Lieutenant (temp. Captain)
Claude Henry Thomas Skelley, Unattached List (b), is can-
celled and the following substituted :--
Lieutenant (temp. Captain) Claude Henry Thomas
Skelley, Unattached List (b), relinquishes the ap-
pointment of Assistant Provost Marshal, Otago Military
District, and is attached to the staff of the Director
of Vocational Training, retaining the temporary rank
of Captain whilst so employed. Dated 28th July,
