MASTERTON COUNTY.
RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Masterton County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of four thousand pounds (£4,000), authorized to be raised, under the above-mentioned Act, and in pursuance of a Governor’s Warrant under section 119 of the Public Works Act, 1913, the Masterton County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fortieth (1/40th) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property in the Masterton County (on the basis of the capital value); and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of five (5) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a duly convened and constituted meeting of the Masterton County Council held on the 12th day of August, 1919.

EYRE COUNTY COUNCIL.
SPECIAL ORDER MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Lake Coleridge Water-power Act, 1915, and the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers in that behalf enabling it, the Eyre County Council hereby resolves by way of special order as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest at the rate of not exceeding 5½ per centum per annum, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan proposed and authorized to be raised by the Eyre County Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of lighting and the supply of electricity by the Eyre County Council within the Eyre Riding of the said county, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-tenth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in that part of the Eyre County District being the Eyre Riding thereof; and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 31st day of March and the 30th day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Eyre County was hereto affixed on the 4th day of August, 1919, pursuant to a resolution of the Eyre County Council, in the presence of—

WHANGAMARINO ROAD BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Whangamarino Road Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £4,000, authorized to be raised by the Whangamarino Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling roads in the Maramarua Special Rating Area of the above road district, the Whangamarino Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 11/16 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Maramarua Special Rating Area of the Whangamarino Road District.
The Maramarua Special Rating Area is contained within a boundary-line, starting at the junction of the Kopuku and Mangatangi Streams, in Block III, Maramarua Survey District, and follows the course of Kopuku Stream to the boundary of Section 4, Maramarua Parish, and from the south-west corner of said Section 4, a straight line to south-east corner of Section 31, Maramarua Parish; thence following boundary of Maramarua Subdivision of the Whangamarino Road District to the County of Waikato boundary, Block VI, Piako Survey District; thence following boundary-line of Waikato, Ohinemuri, and Thames counties to Section 1, Block II, Piako Survey District; thence to south-west corner of Section 1; thence along eastern and northern boundaries of land reserved for Natives to intersection of boundary-line of Section 155, Koheroa Parish; thence following boundaries of and including Sections 155 and 156 to Section 56, Koheroa Parish; thence along northern and western boundaries of Section 56 and 54, and western boundary of Section 55, Koheroa Parish, to the boundary of Waikato and Franklin counties; thence to confluence of Mangatangi and Kopuku Streams at starting-point.
The Maramarua Special Rating Area contains within its boundaries Sections 23, 23A, 32, 45, 46, 47, 52, 53, part of 54, 55, parts of 63 and 64, 75, and part of 153, Block I, Piako Survey District; Sections 24, 25, part of 26, 26A, part of 54, 67, part of 68, 69, part of 69A, Block II, Piako Survey District; Sections 28, 29, 30, 31, 61, 74, Block V, Piako Survey District; Sections part of 26, 27, parts of 68 and 69A, 70A, Block VI, Piako Survey District; Sections part of 4, 5, 6, 8, and parts of 9 and 9D, 16, 49, 50, 56, 57, 62, parts of 63 and 64, Block IV, Maramarua Survey District; Sections 20, 94, Block III, Maramarua Survey District; Sections 54, 55, Block XVI, Opaheke Survey District; Sections 56, part of 153, 154, 155, 156, 165, Block VII, Wharekawa Survey District, and Crown lands.
Such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAITOA DRAINAGE BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATES.—TATUANUI NO. 2 SPECIAL RATING AREA.—TEN-PER-CENTUM ADDITIONAL LOAN, £500, FOR COMPLETING DRAINAGE-WORKS.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Waitoa Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a special loan of £500, being 10 per centum additional on the original loan of £5,000 raised for the purpose of drainage-works in the Tatuanui No. 2 Special Rating Area of the Waitoa Drainage District, the Waitoa Drainage Board hereby makes and levies special rates, on a graduated scale according to the classification of the lands within the said special rating area, of one-eighth of one penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable lands in Class “A,” of one twenty-fourth of one penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable lands in Class “B,” and of one thirty-second of one penny in the pound on the rateable value of all lands in Class “C,” all of which classes and the lands therein, together with their respective rateable values as appearing on the special roll of the special rating area, are set out in the classification list of the Tatuanui No. 2 Special Rating Area marked “A,” the boundaries of which are as follows,——
All that area in the Waitoa Drainage District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the Piako River at the intersection of the No. 5 Line of the Waitoa Estate Subdivision, thence following such line to the No. 8 Road, which along on its eastern side to the north-west corner of Lot 3 of the subdivision of Section 67 of the Waitoa Estate Subdivision; thence following along the northern boundary of the said Lot 3 of its north-east corner; thence along the eastern boundary-line of Lots 3 and 4 and the eastern boundary of Buchanan’s and Caton’s Sections to the southern boundary-line of the Waitoa Estate; thence following such line to the railway-line on its south-eastern side, and along same to the Waitoa River (the eastern boundary of the Waitoa Drainage District); then following the said boundary-line of the Waitoa Drainage District in a southerly direction; thence south-westerly, thence westerly and northerly, and again westerly to the Piako River, which along to the No. 5 line of the Waitoa Estate Subdivision, the point of commencement.
Such rates shall be annually recurring rates during the currency of the loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of January and the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
We hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Waitoa Drainage Board properly constituted and held at Waihou on Saturday, the ninth day of August, 1919. In testimony whereof the common seal of the Waitoa Drainage Board is hereto affixed, set, and impressed.
