AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 68 acres, more or less, being Section 32, Block XI, Patetere North Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by the Auckland-Rotorua Railway, 643·9, 587·9, 974·7, 1798·5, and 1349·4 links; towards the south-east generally by a public road, 459·3, 1159·5, 265·8, 448·8, 398·6, 1107·2, 336·7, and 1398·2 links; and towards the south-west by a public road, 1501·7, 593·6, and 336·5 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/654, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plan No. 14729, blue.) For public-recreation purposes.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section 8, Block IV, Ohika Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by the Buller River; towards the east by Crown land, 400 links; towards the south-east by a public road; and towards the west by Section 45, Block IV aforesaid: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/233, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a roadman’s paddock.

Notifying the Proposed Exchange of Crown Land in the Marlborough Land District for other Land.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and forty-two of the Land Act, 1908, as amended by section seventeen of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Governor-General, whenever he deems it expedient in the public interest, to grant in fee-simple any area of Crown land which is subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1908, in exchange for the fee-simple of any other land, and on any such exchange to pay or receive by way of equality of exchange any sum not exceeding twenty-five per centum of the estimated value of the Crown land so granted:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to exchange the Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, and the owner of the land described in the Second Schedule has agreed to such exchange, and has agreed to pay to the Crown a sum of money by way of equality of exchange, and such sum does not exceed twenty-five per centum of the estimated value of the Crown land hereinbefore mentioned:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the aforesaid powers and authorities, doth hereby declare that it is his intention to grant in fee-simple the area of Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto in exchange for the fee-simple of the area of land described in the Second Schedule, upon payment by the owner thereof of the sum of money hereinbefore referred to by way of equality of exchange.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF CROWN LANDS AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.
All that area in the Marlborough Land District, being originally portions of Sections 134, 135, and 182, District of Omaka, and now known as Sections 3 and 4, Block XVI, Onamalutu Survey District, containing by admeasurement an area of 248 acres 0 roods 2 perches, more or less. Bounded on the north by a public road, 1710·7 links; towards the east by Section 2, Block XVI, Onamalutu Survey District, 998·4 links; again on the north by Section 2 aforesaid, 500 links; again to the east by Section 133, District of Omaka, and a public road, 690·5 links and 6510·4 links respectively; towards the south by Section 136, District of Omaka, 3661 links; towards the west by Section 183, District of Omaka, 4746·7 links; again to the north by part Section 134, District of Omaka, 1150·2 links; and again to the west by said part Section 134, District of Omaka, 2002·5 links, to the point of commencement.
Also all that land being part of Section 158, District of Omaka, and now known as Section 8, Block XVI, Onamalutu Survey District, containing an area of 4 acres 2 roods 25 perches. Bounded towards the east by the remaining portion of Section 158, District of Omaka, 854·4 links; towards the south by Section 156, District of Omaka, 666·7 links; and towards the west and north generally by a stream to the point of commencement.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 48385, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LANDS TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR.
All that area in the Marlborough Land District, being portions of Sections 156, 157, and 180, District of Omaka, containing by admeasurement an area of 108 acres 1 rood 34 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north by part of Section 156, District of Omaka, 253·8 and 124 links, and by part of Section 158, District of Omaka, 3153 links; towards the east and south by public roads, 3312·4 and 3381·7 links respectively; and towards the west by part of Section 156, District of Omaka, 2326 and 1059 links to the point of commencement.
Also all that land, being portions of Sections 42 and 155, Block I, District of Omaka, and 40 and 52, Block I, District of Waihopai, containing by admeasurement an area of 36 acres 3 roods, more or less. Bounded towards the north generally by portions of Sections 40 and 52, Block I, District of Waihopai, 801·3 and 2000·2 links; towards the east generally by a public road, 574·7, 236·2, and 525 links; towards the south generally by Gibson’s Creek to its confluence with a stream flowing from a south-westerly direction, and by the said stream to a point bearing 187° 9′ for 395 links from peg II; towards the west by parts of Sections 155 and 42, Block I, District of Omaka, and Section 40 of Block I, Waihopai, 395, 1822·4, and 1497·7 links, to the point of commencement.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 48385, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged green.
