Prohibiting all Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this nineteenth day of August, 1919.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council, all alienation of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

Prohibiting the Importation into New Zealand of a certain Publication.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion, and in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section forty-six of the Customs Act, 1913, and section two of the Regulation of Trade and Commerce Amendment Act, 1915, doth hereby prohibit the importation into New Zealand of the publication named or described in the Schedule hereto.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section four of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
THOMAS HENRY BROUGH
to be an additional trustee to provide for the maintenance and care of the Aria Public Cemetery, in conjunction with Edward Tolme, Thomas Ward, Patrick David Smyth, Alfred James Keighley, Stevens Riddle, Edward John Graham, William Sangster, John O’Sullivan, and James Collins, previously appointed.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
And whereas by the sixty-ninth section of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, it is further provided that the Governor-General may from time to time, as he thinks fit, set aside reserves for any specified public purpose out of land acquired under the last-mentioned Act, provided that no land so acquired shall be set aside for endowments:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Acts, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the North Auckland, Auckland, and Nelson Land Districts described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 0 roods 9 perches, more or less, being Section 11, Block VIII, Rangaunu Survey District. Bounded commencing at peg marked VII on the south-eastern side of the Lake Ohia-Tahonga Road, towards the north-east by the said road to peg VI, 505·5 links; towards the south-east by a right line bearing 195° 47′, distance 1000 links; towards the south-west by a right line bearing 285° 47′, distance 505·5 links; and towards the north-west by a right line to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/84, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. For a site for a Native school.
Also all that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 33·99 perches, more or less, being Allotment 367, Parish of Pukeatua. Bounded towards the north-west generally by Allotment 305 of the aforesaid parish, 379 and 803·3 links; towards the east generally by Allotment S.W. 231 of the aforesaid parish, 107·6 and 114·2 links; towards the south-east generally by a public road, 220·8, 164·4, 364·7, and 358·5 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4474A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington,
