if any, to CHARLES ARTHUR STUBBS and PERCY NICHOL KINGSWELL, of Hobson’s Building, Fort Street, Auckland, the Liquidators of the said company, and, if so required by notice in writing from the said Liquidators, are by their solicitors to come in and prove their said debts or claims, at the office of the Registrar of the Supreme Court at Auckland, at such time as shall be specified in such notice, not being earlier than the 20th day of January, 1919, or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved.

HOBSON COUNTY.

OMANA ROAD 10-PER-CENT. ADDITIONAL LOAN OF £100.—RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Hobson County Council hereby resolves as follows :—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of one hundred pounds (£100), authorized to be raised by the Hobson County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of completing road and bridge construction in the Omana Special District, the said Hobson County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-thirtieth (1/30th) of a penny in the £1 upon the rateable value of all rateable property in this Omana Special-rating District, comprising Sections 9 to 40 both inclusive, 11A, 23A, 47A, Pt. 41, Pt. 47, and Sections 48 to 61 both inclusive of the Omana Subdivision of Whangomakopuna and Walton’s Grant No. 1, 1A, 2, 3, of the Maungaru Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Hobson County Council held on the 17th day of December, 1918, and the common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Hobson was hereunto affixed this 17th day of December, 1918.

HOBSON COUNTY.

DARGAVILLE–WHANGAREI ROAD 10-PER-CENT. ADDITIONAL LOAN OF £400.—RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Hobson County Council hereby resolves as follows :—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of four hundred pounds (£400), authorized to be raised by the Hobson County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for completing the formation and metalling of the Dargaville–Whangarei Road, the said Hobson County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one twenty-fourth (1/24th) of a penny in the £1 upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Dargaville–Whangarei Special-rating Area, comprising all that area as hereinafter described; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Starting from the north-western corner of Kaihu No. 2, Block IX, Maungaru S.D.; thence by the western boundary of the said Kaihu No. 2 Block to the Awakino River; thence by the Awakino River to intersection of the Dargaville–Whangarei Road; thence by the said Dargaville–Whangarei Road to the junction of the Dargaville–Opouteke Road; thence by the said Dargaville–Opouteke Road to the intersection of the northern boundary of the Ounuwhao Block No. 3, Block IV, Kaihu S.D.; thence by the northern boundary of the said Ounuwhao Block No. 3 to the south-western corner of Section 20, Block 1, Maungaru S.D.; thence by the western boundaries of Sections 20, 19, 12, 11, of Block 1, Maungaru S.D.; thence by the southern boundaries of Sections 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, of Block 1, Maungaru S.D.; thence by the western and northern boundary of Mangakirikiri Block; thence by the western boundary of Maungaru Block to the intersection of the Kirikopuni Stream; thence in a westerly line (being the southern boundary of W. Holster’s section) to the Kirikopuni–Houto Road; thence by the said Kirikopuni–Houto Road to the intersection of the northern boundary of the Maungaru Block; thence by the northern boundary of the Maungaru Block to the Wairoa River; thence by the said Wairoa River to the starting-point.

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Hobson County Council of the 17th day of December, 1918, and the common seal of the Hobson County Council was hereunto affixed this 17th day of December, 1918.

PUKEKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Pukekohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,500, authorized to be raised by the Pukekohe Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purchase of a site for a technical high school in the Borough of Pukekohe, the said Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-ninth of one penny in the £1 on the capital rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Pukekohe; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of eight years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

We hereby certify that the above is a true copy of an extract from the minutes of the proceedings of the Pukekohe Borough Council as passed at a meeting of the said Council at Pukekohe on the 18th day of December, 1918.
