HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, resignations, and transfers of the undermentioned officers of the N.Z. Staff Corps, Royal N.Z. Artillery, and Territorial Force.
APPOINTMENTS.
Colonel (temporary) Clarence Reginald Macdonald, C.M.G., I.G.S., is appointed Camp Commandant, Featherston Military Camp. Dated 26th November, 1918.
Note.—This officer held the appointment of Acting Camp Commandant from 6th November, 1918, to 9th November, 1918.
Lieutenant-Colonel Roy William Cumming, 16th (Waikato) Regiment, held the appointment of Acting Camp Commandant, Featherston Military Camp, from 9th November, 1918, to 26th November, 1918.
Captain James William Silcock, 6th (Hauraki) Regiment, relinquishes the appointment of Assistant Camp Adjutant, Featherston Military Camp. Dated 12th November, 1918.
Captain (temporary) Lewis Alfred Clements, N.Z. Permanent Staff, Assistant Camp Quartermaster, held the appointment of Camp Quartermaster, Featherston Military Camp, from 5th November, 1918, to 22nd November, 1918.
Captain Robert Irvine, R.N.Z.A. (N.Z.E.F.), is appointed O.C., N.Z. Field Artillery, Featherston Military Camp. Dated 25th November, 1918.
Captain Felix Hector Levien, 16th (Waikato) Regiment, Reserve of Officers, relinquishes the appointment of Military Representative to a Military Service Board. Dated 22nd October, 1918.
Honorary Lieutenant (temp. Honorary Captain) William Orton Bradley, Royal N.Z. Artillery, relinquishes the appointment of Instructor of Artillery, N.Z. Expeditionary Force Training-camps and the honorary rank of Captain whilst so employed. Dated 12th November, 1918.
Captain (temp.) James Bruce Beale, Unattached List (b), General List, relinquishes the appointment of Military Representative to a Military Service Board and the temporary rank of Captain whilst so employed. Dated 11th September, 1918.
2nd Lieutenant (temp. Captain) Charles Gray, 11th Regiment (Taranaki Rifles), relinquishes the appointment of Assistant Provost-Marshal in a military district and the temporary rank of Captain whilst so employed. Dated 4th January, 1919.
Lieutenant Charles Cockburn Miles, 5th (Wellington) Regiment, relinquishes the appointment of Assistant Provost-Marshal, Auckland Military District. Dated 7th January, 1919.
Lieutenant (temp. Captain) Cecil George Gray, N.Z. Dental Corps, is appointed Assistant Director of Dental Services. Dated 10th December, 1918.
Lieutenant Alfred William Baldwin, N.Z. Army Ordnance Department, is appointed Camp Quartermaster, Featherston Military Camp, and is granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst so employed. Dated 18th November, 1918.
Lieutenant Charles Gamble, Unattached List (b), General List, is appointed Camp Paymaster (temp.), Featherston Military Camp, and is granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst so employed. Dated 28th August, 1918.
Captain (temp. Major) Ralph Wyman, 3rd Auckland Mounted Rifles (Reserve of Officers), relinquishes the appointment of Mounted Rifles Instructor in N.Z. Expeditionary Force Training-camps and the temporary rank of Major whilst so employed. Dated 3rd January, 1919.
Lieutenant John Moultrie Ferriday, Corps of N.Z. Engineers, N.Z. Railway Battalions, relinquishes the appointment of Mortar Instructor, Field Artillery Reinforcements, Featherston Camp. Dated 2nd January, 1919.
2nd Lieutenant (temp. Lieutenant) Harry Hector Doughty, N.Z. Field Artillery, “A” Battery, relinquishes the appointment of Field Artillery Instructor in N.Z. Expeditionary Force Training-camps and the temporary rank of Lieutenant whilst so employed. Dated 2nd January, 1919.
2nd Lieutenant (temp. Lieutenant) Valentine Stocker, M.C., Unattached List (b), General List, relinquishes the appointment of Physical and Bayonet-fighting Instructor in N.Z. Expeditionary Force Training-camps and the temporary rank of Lieutenant whilst so employed. Dated 9th January, 1919.
2nd Lieutenant (temp. Lieutenant) Cyprian Everard Bridge, N.Z. Rifle Brigade (Earl of Liverpool’s Own), relinquishes the appointment of Lewis Gun Instructor in N.Z. Expeditionary Force Training-camps and the temporary rank of Lieutenant whilst so employed. Dated 3rd January, 1919.
