Statute Law Amendment Act, 1917.—Amendment of Regulations for the Appointment and Payment of Teachers, the Staffing of Schools, and Supplementary Grants to School Committees.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this thirtieth day of December, 1918.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him by section eight of the Statute Law Amendment Act, 1917, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke Part I of the regulations made under authority of the said section by Order in Council dated the tenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, relating to appointment and payment of teachers and staffing of schools, excepting clause three thereof, and doth hereby amend Part II of the regulations relating to supplementary grants for school committees’ incidental expenses during the war with Germany, by substituting for the Schedule to the said Part II the Schedule hereunder ; and, with the like advice and consent, doth prescribe that this Order shall come into force on the first publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Rule under the Judicature Act, 1908.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this nineteenth day of December, 1918.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section fifty-one of the Judicature Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, and with the concurrence of the Honourable the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of New Zealand and the Honourable Mr. Justice Hosking, a Judge of the Supreme Court, doth hereby make the following rule, and doth declare that such rule shall take effect on and from the sixteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

RULE.

RULE 581A, Table D, Fees payable to the Registrars of the Supreme Court, in the Third Schedule, is hereby amended by revoking the last item thereof, and substituting therefor the words,–

On probate or letters of administration— £ s. d.
When an estate is sworn not exceeding £200.. 0 5 0
