WAIMARINO COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN BLOCK VIII, MAKOTUKU SURVEY DISTRICT, FOR ROAD PURPOSES.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road in Block VIII, Makotuku Survey District; and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Waimarino County Council at Raetihi, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Chairman of the Waimarino County Council at Raetihi.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land, containing 2 acres 1 rood 18·35 perches, be the same a little more or less, being part of Section 19, Block VIII, Makotuku Survey District, County of Waimarino, and in the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked 202/32, deposited in the office of the Waimarino County Council at Raetihi, and thereupon coloured pink;

NOTICE is hereby given that the following special resolution has been passed in manner directed by the Companies Act, 1908, by the Saxon Gold-mining Company Limited). The resolution was passed on the 4th day of June, 1918, and confirmed on the 19th day of June, 1918:—
“That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908; and that JOSEPH
BERNARD SHEATH, of Auckland, Company Manager, be and is hereby appointed the Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between CHARLES RIDDING and THOMAS RICHARD JAMES MILLER, carrying on business as Blacksmiths and Farriers at Adelaide Road, Wellington, under the style or firm-name of “Ridding and Miller,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 25th day of May, 1918, so far as concerns the said THOMAS RICHARD JAMES MILLER, who retires from the said firm.

WANSTEAD ROAD BOARD.
In the matter of the Road Boards Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908, and the amendments thereof.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Purimu Road Board, having, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, executed a certain public work—namely, a public road then in the Purimu Road District, and now in the Wanstead Road District—and the Wanstead Road Board having found it desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of such public work to acquire the lands described in the Schedule hereto, proposes to take the said lands described in the said Schedule hereto under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, and its amendments.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited at the Lake Station Homestead, Wanstead, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during reasonable hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands, who have any well-grounded objections to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Clerk of the said Wanstead Road Board at his office at Waipukurau.
