The Right Reverend William Charles Sadlier, Chaplain to the Forces, 2nd Class, to be Chaplain to the Forces, 1st Class (temp.), whilst employed on special duty with the N.Z. Expeditionary Force. Dated 24th May, 1918.

The Reverend Leo James Daly, Chaplain to the Forces, 4th Class, is struck off the strength of the N.Z. Expeditionary Force, with effect from 5th July, 1918, and is absorbed with his original rank and seniority—viz., Chaplain to the Forces, 4th Class, as from 1st February, 1915 (vide New Zealand Gazette No. 30, of the 25th February, 1915).

The Reverend Herbert Louis Barton Goertz to be Chaplain to the Forces, 4th Class. Dated 31st May, 1918.

CORRIGENDA.

With reference to the notice published in the New Zealand Gazettes No. 115, of the 12th July, 1917, and No. 37, of the 14th March, 1918, relating to 2nd Lieutenant Henry Masterton Clark, for the words “Unattached List (b), General List” read “Corps of N.Z. Engineers, No. 3 Field Company.”

With reference to the notification published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 76, of the 23rd May, 1918, relating to Major John Llewellyn Saunders, D.S.O., 1st (Canterbury) Regiment, for the words “Permanent Officer Commanding Troopship” read “Permanent Officer Commanding Troops on Board a Troopship.”

With reference to the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 28, of the 28th February, 1918, “Appointments, Promotions, and Transfers of Officers on Active Service with the N.Z. Expeditionary Force,” under the heading “N.Z. Rifle Brigade,” for the words “2nd Lieutenant W. G. Hendry” read “2nd Lieutenant W. G. Henry.”

With reference to the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 179, of the 13th December, 1917, “Appointments, Promotions, and Transfers of Officers on Active Service with the N.Z. Expeditionary Force,” relating to Captain Herbert Henry Whyte, N.Z. Field Artillery, for the words “Dated 5th September, 1917,” read “Dated 15th September, 1917.”
