Volcanic soil, all warm safe country. Access from Purau Wharf by formed road one mile and a half, and by unformed road two miles. There is also a boat-landing at Camp Bay.

Lot 2 of E.R. 62, Blocks II and V: Area, 728 acres; capital value, £8,920; half-yearly rent, £223.

All open country in native grasses, interspersed with English grass. About 20 acres of easy slopes, remainder tableland and terraces. Altitude, sea-level to 1,600 ft. Watered by small creek and springs. Access from Port Levy Wharf, about half a mile by unformed road.

A right of way for driving stock is reserved through this section to Reserve 61.

Lot 3 of E.R. 62, Block V: Area, 253 acres; capital value, £3,520; half-yearly rent, £88.

Weighted with £60, valuation for a hut.

All open country in native grasses, interspersed with English grass. About 7 acres almost flat, remainder terraces and slopes. Altitude, sea-level to 1,275 ft. Watered by small springs and creeks. Access by Port Levy Wharf, which adjoins the section.

Lot 4 of E.R. 62, Blocks I, II, IV, V: Area, 794 acres; capital value, £8,340; half-yearly rent, £208 10s.

All open country in native grasses, interspersed with English grass. About 10 acres flat, remainder steep terraces and tablelands. Altitude, 50 ft. to 1,950 ft. Watered by small springs and creeks. Access from Purau Wharf by formed road one mile and a half and by unformed road two miles. There is also a boat-landing at Camp Bay.

IMPROVEMENTS.

Section 1, 40 chains internal fencing, 90 chains boundary fencing; Section 2, 107 chains internal fencing, 150 chains boundary fencing; Section 3, 18 chains internal fencing, 118 chains boundary fencing; Section 4, 110 chains internal fencing, 130 chains boundary fencing.

The previous lessees have the right to remove certain wire netting (477 yards on Section 1, 1,705 yards on Section 2, and 320 yards on Section 3); this, however, may be purchased by the successful applicants for £10 7s. 6d., £32 5s. 10d., and £6 13s. 4d. respectively.

Amending Regulations for the Military Forces of New Zealand re Military Honours and Military Funerals.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Defence Act, 1909, and its amendments, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend in the manner and to the extent set forth in the Schedule hereto the regulations re military honours and military funerals made on the twentieth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the same date; and I do hereby declare that such amendments shall take effect as from the twenty-fifth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

SCHEDULE.

SECTION XI.—MILITARY HONOURS AND MILITARY FUNERALS.

PARAGRAPH 556 (b) and (c) are hereby amended by deleting the word “six” in the sixth and third lines respectively, and substituting therefor in each case the word “twelve.”

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this twenty-fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

Amendment to the Regulations under the Public Service Act, 1912.

IN pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred on him by the Public Service Act, 1912 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), the Commissioner, with the approval of the Governor-General in Council, doth hereby, in respect of the regulations made under the said Act on the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and the amendments thereof, amend the regulations now in force in the manner and to the extent set forth in the Schedule hereto. Such amendment shall have effect from and after the date of publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

SCHEDULE.

REGULATION 204A, as gazetted in New Zealand Gazette No. 47, of the 19th June, 1913, is hereby revoked.

As witness my hand this twentieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.
