Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Wharikahika 1B 4 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Saturday, the 2nd day of March, 1918, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:-

"That portion of the said land, containing 700 acres, be leased to Wi Tupaea, of Kahukura, aboriginal Native, farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum per annum of present Government capital valuation, with right to compensation for improvements."

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Nuhiti Consolidation D Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tokomaru Bay on Friday, the 15th day of February, 1918, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:

"That 700 acres of the said Nuhiti Consolidation D Block be leased to Harata te Iringaio and Clarence Yates for a term of twenty-one years at 5 per centum per annum of the Government valuation, with compensation for all improvements other than boundary-fences. Locality to be fixed at the meeting."

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Pahiitaua 4 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Waipiro Bay on Tuesday, the 19th day of February, 1918, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:

"That the said Pahiitaua 4 Block be sold to Himiona te Owai and Tuhaka Fox, of Waipiro Bay, at a price not less than the Government valuation of the land; or, in the alternative,

"That the said land be leased to Himiona te Owai and Tuhaka Fox for twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the present Government valuation, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum per annum of the then unimproved valuation of the land, or with the right to compensation for improvements."

"That the above block be leased to Joseph Clarke, of Pakihiroa, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years, with right of renewal for further twenty-one years, or compensation for improvements. Rental, 5 per centum on present Government value of the land."

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Waiaranga 1 is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Manutahi on Friday, the 22nd day of February, 1918, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:

"That the said Waiaranga 1 Block be leased to Tuta Oriki and Ani Rangi, both of Waiapu, Native settlers, as tenants in common in equal shares, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental of 5 per centum per annum of the present Government valuation for the first ten years, and thereafter at a rental of 5 per centum per annum of the then Government valuation of the said land, with right to compensation for improvements."
