Notice respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries,
Papakura Town District.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, under the Town Boards Act, 1908, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto may be excluded from the Franklin County and included in the Papakura Town District. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

AREA PROPOSED TO BE EXCLUDED FROM FRANKLIN COUNTY AND INCLUDED IN PAPAKURA TOWN DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, and situated in Drury Survey District, commencing at the intersection of the southern side of Beach Road and the western side of the Great South Road. Bounded towards the east by the western side of the Great South Road to the southern boundary of part of Lot 11 of Opaheke Parish, distance about 3l chains from the intersection of the last-mentioned roads; thence towards the south by the southern boundary of part of Lot 11 aforesaid; thence towards the west by the western boundary of said Lot 11 to the southern side of Beach Road; thence towards the north by the southern side of Beach Road to the Great South Road, the place of commencement.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, and situated in Otahuhu Survey District, bounded towards the north-east generally commencing at the north-western corner of Lot 12 of Section 8, Town of Papakura; thence by the north-eastern side of the Great South Road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Young's Road, to and by the south-eastern boundary of Young's Road to Pahurehure Estuary; thence towards the west generally by the said estuary to the westernmost corner of Reserve 5 of Section 6, Parish of Papakura; thence towards the north generally by the northern boundary of Reserve 5 aforesaid to the Great South Road; thence by the Great South Road in a southerly direction to a point in line with the north-western corner of Lot 12 of Section 8, Town of Papakura; thence by a right line to the north-western corner of Lot 12 aforesaid, the place of commencement.

Redefining Boundaries of the City of Auckland, the County of Eden, and the Tamaki West Road District.

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 20 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1910, the boundaries of the City of Auckland are hereby defined as set out in the First Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the said city having been altered by an Order in Council dated the 25th day of March, 1918, made under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, as amended by the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1913, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 45, of the 28th day of March, 1918.

And also, in pursuance of the said section 20 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1910, the boundaries of the County of Eden and of the Tamaki West Road District affected by the said Order in Council dated the 25th day of March, 1918, are hereby defined as set out in the Second and Third Schedules hereto.
