Land proclaimed as a Road, and Road closed, in Blocks XVI and XV, Maraekakaho Survey District, Hawke’s Bay County.

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owners, lessee, and mortgagees of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Hawke’s Bay County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Maraekakaho Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road described in the First Schedule hereto.

All situated in Maraekakaho Survey District (Hawke’s Bay R.D.).
All in the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42832, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this sixth day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

Amending General Regulations under Part II of the Fisheries Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this thirteenth day of May, 1918.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
W HEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-third day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 76, of the twenty-ninth day of the same month, general regulations were made for fishing for salmon, trout, and perch :
And whereas by Order in Council dated the twenty-first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 146, of the twenty-seventh day of the same month, an additional regulation was made governing the use of torches for eel-fishing :
And whereas it is desirable to revoke the additional regulation of the twenty-first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and to make another regulation in lieu thereof :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by section eighty-three of the Fisheries Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act,”), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the hereinbefore-recited regulation of the twenty-first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and doth make the following additional general regulation for the purposes of the said Act.
REGULATION.
ANY acclimatization society may, with the approval of the Minister of Marine, prohibit the use of torches, acetylene lamps, or other artificial lights for eel-fishing in any river within its district.

Declaring Portions of Glenmark Settlement Roads, in the Waipara County, to be County Roads.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this thirteenth day of May, 1918.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county roads.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in the Canterbury Land District, Waipara County, Glenmark Settlement, commencing at the south-western corner of Recreation Reserve No. 3971, Block XVI, Waikari Survey District, and running generally in a north-easterly direction between the said Reserve No. 3971 and Sections 17, 18, 14, 11, and 12 of the said Glenmark Settlement, that freehold land known as the Glenmark Homestead, Sections 8, 27, and 7 of the said Glenmark Settlement, Block XVI, Waikari Survey District, adjoining Sections 6 and 1 of the said Glenmark Settlement, Block XII, and that freehold land being Section No. 7538, Blocks XII and XIII, Waikari Survey District, and Section 2 and gravel reserve, Block XVII, and Sections 3 and 4 of the said Glenmark Settlement, Block XIII, Waikari Survey District, and terminating at the south-western corner of Section 5 of the said Glenmark Settlement, Block XIII aforesaid; being a total distance of 46547 links, more or less.
Also all that portion of road in the said land district, county, and settlement, commencing at the north-west corner of Section 12, Glenmark Settlement, Block XVI, Waikari Survey District, and running generally in a north-easterly and then in a south-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through the said Section 12 and that freehold land known as Glenmark Homestead, gravel reserve, Section 13, sheep-dip, Sections 14, 20, and 26 of the said Glenmark Settlement, Block XVI, Waikari Survey District, and terminating at its junction with the Omihi Valley Road; being a total distance of 13597 links, more or less.
Also all that portion of road in the said land district, county, and settlement, commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 17, Glenmark Settlement, Block XVI, Waikari Survey District, and running generally in a north-westerly direction between Section 17, gravel reserve, and Section 16 of the said Glenmark Settlement, and the Christchurch–Culverden Railway Reserve, and between Sections 16 and 9 of the said Glenmark Settlement and gravel reserve, Block XVI, Waikari Survey District, and terminating at the south-western
