THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

and seventeen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 129, page 3223, of the sixteenth day of the same month, and hereinafter referred to as “the said Proclamation”:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the said Act, do hereby amend the said Proclamation by revoking so much of the Second Schedule to the said Proclamation as affects the areas 3 roods 25 perches adjoining or passing through Section 4A, and 3 acres 3 roods 8 perches adjoining or passing through Section 5, Block I, Maungaru Survey District (Auckland R.D.).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this thirteenth day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block II, Moutere Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block II, Moutere Survey District:

And whereas agreements have been entered into, in terms of section twenty-seven of the said Act, to take such land for the public work hereinafter set forth:

And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor-General to issue a Proclamation taking the land, as required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreements hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the above road; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

Land taken for a Further Portion of the North Auckland Railway, and for a Road-diversion in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, for a further portion of the North Auckland Railway, and for a road-diversion in connection therewith:

And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinafter specified have been observed and performed:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a further portion of the said railway hereinbefore specified, and for the road-diversion in connection therewith as aforesaid.
