Lieutenant Victor Lionel Powell is attached to the N.Z. Dental Corps temporarily whilst employed in N.Z. Expeditionary Force Training Camps. Dated 29th April, 1918.
The appointment of 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) Albert Ernest Neilson is confirmed under the provisions of paragraph 111, General Regulations, 1913.
Captain Albert Ernest Neilson is struck off the strength of the N.Z. Expeditionary Force, with effect from 6th May, 1918, and is absorbed with his original rank and seniority—viz., 2nd Lieutenant, as from 29th May, 1915 (vide New Zealand Gazette No. 89, of the 22nd July, 1915), and is granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst employed as Company Commander, C1 Camp. Dated 2nd May, 1918.
Captain Nathaniel John Reed is struck off the strength of the N.Z. Expeditionary Force, with effect from 15th May, 1918, and is absorbed with his original rank and seniority—viz., Lieutenant, as from 9th October, 1914 (vide New Zealand Gazette No. 61, of the 6th May, 1915).
Captain Charles Hastings Alexander Senior, M.C., is struck off the strength of the N.Z. Expeditionary Force, with effect from 29th March, 1918, and is absorbed with his original rank and seniority—viz., 2nd Lieutenant, as from 9th September, 1912 (vide New Zealand Gazette No. 86, of the 28th November, 1912).
Lieutenant Frank Herbert Dodd is struck off the strength of the N.Z. Expeditionary Force, with effect from 22nd May, 1918, and is absorbed with his original rank and seniority—viz., Lieutenant, as from 21st September, 1916 (vide New Zealand Gazette No. 170, of the 22nd November, 1917).

2nd Lieutenant Alfred Murray is struck off the strength of the N.Z. Expeditionary Force, with effect from 3rd May, 1918, and is posted with his original rank and seniority—viz., 2nd Lieutenant, as from 2nd June, 1917.
2nd Lieutenant Lindsay Allan is struck off the strength of the N.Z. Expeditionary Force, with effect from 17th May, 1918, and is absorbed with his original rank and seniority—viz., 2nd Lieutenant, as from 15th January, 1917 (vide New Zealand Gazette No. 150, of the 4th October, 1917).
2nd Lieutenant Harry Edmund Stratford is struck off the strength of the N.Z. Expeditionary Force, with effect from 22nd May, 1918, and is posted with his original rank and seniority—viz., 2nd Lieutenant, as from 24th May, 1917.
2nd Lieutenant Thomas Edward Youd Seddon is transferred to the 13th (North Canterbury and Westland) Regiment. Dated 16th April, 1918.
N.Z. EXPEDITIONARY FORCE.
2nd Lieutenant David Arthur Lusk, Unattached List (b), General List, returns to duty and is appointed for service with the Samoan Garrison, with seniority as from 15th July, 1916. Dated 29th April, 1918.
2nd Lieutenant Reginald Moataa Doughty is appointed for service with the Samoan Garrison, with seniority as from 25th January, 1917. Dated 30th April, 1918.
