Mongonui Survey District; thence by the western boundaries of the said Section 61 and of Section 9, Block VII, Mongonui Survey District, and part of the western boundary of Motukahaka No. 1, and the western boundary of Section 73, Block III, Mongonui Survey District, to the sea; thence generally towards the north-east, the north, and the west respectively by the ocean to the point of commencement, being the northern promontory of the North Island of New Zealand: together with the adjacent islands, but excluding the islands known as the Three Kings.
Whangaroa County.
All that area in the Land District of Auckland bounded generally towards the west and north-west by the County of Mongonui hereinbefore described, from the eastern boundary of Mangamuka East No. 1A to the sea; thence generally towards the north-east by the ocean to the mouth of the Takou River; thence by the centre of that river to the north-west boundary of Section 4, Blocks II and III, Kerikeri Survey District; thence by the north-west boundary of Section 4 aforesaid, and by the north-east boundary of Section 5, subdivision of Kapiro Kauri-gum Reserve; thence by the western boundary of the said Section 5, and by the north-western boundaries of Section 3, subdivision of Kapiro Kauri-gum Reserve, and of Section 1, Block II, Kerikeri Survey District, to Te Whau Trig. Station; thence by the north-west boundary of the Kapiro Kauri-gum Reserve adjoining Sections 8 and 3, Blocks VIII and XII, Kaeo Survey District, to the north-east angle of Section 12, Block XII, Kaeo Survey District; thence by the northern boundaries of Sections 12 and 14, Block XII, Kaeo Survey District; thence by the western boundary of Section 14, the northern and western boundaries of Section 10, and portion of the western boundary of Section 15A, all of Block XII, Kaeo Survey District, until such last-mentioned boundary strikes a surveyed road; thence generally in a southerly direction by that road to the north-west angle of Section 16, Block XVI, Kaeo Survey District; thence by the western boundary of that section, and by the north-eastern and portion of the north-western boundaries of Section 28, Blocks XV and XVI, Kaeo Survey District; thence by the north-west boundaries of the Mangaparerua Kauri-gum Reserve (passing through Mangangi-nangina Trigonometrical Station), and of Sections 15, 8, and 9, Blocks XV and XVI, Kaeo Survey District; thence by Crown land adjoining portion of the south-western boundary of Section 3, Block XVI, Kaeo Survey District, to the Pukatea Stream; thence by the centre of that stream to its confluence with the Waipapa River; thence generally in a south-westerly direction by the centre of the Waipapa River aforesaid to its confluence with the Mangapapa River; thence generally in a north-westerly direction by the centre of that river to its confluence with the Whakatereterekia Stream, and by the centre of that stream until it intersects the northern boundary of Block XVI, Maungataniwha Survey District; thence by the northern boundary of that block, and the north-eastern boundary of the Omahuta State Forest Timber Sections Nos. 16, 6, and 2, to Ratakamaru Trigonometrical Station; thence by portion of the north-western boundary of the said Timber Section 2 to the easternmost angle of the Mangamuka East Block; thence generally by the north-eastern boundary of that block to the point of commencement: together with the Cavalli Islands, Step Island, Flat Island, Stephenson’s (or Ririwha) Island, and the other islands adjacent to the said county.
Hokianga County.
All that area in the Land District of Auckland bounded generally towards the north by the Mongonui County hereinbefore described, from the north head of the Whangape Harbour to the easternmost angle of Mangamuka East No. 1A Block; thence towards the north-east by the Whangaroa County to the confluence of the Mangapapa and Waipapa Rivers; thence by the centre of the Waipapa River to its confluence with the Whakanekeke Stream; thence by the centre of that stream until it is intersected by the north-eastern boundary-line of Section 2, Block V, Omapere Survey District; thence by that line to the north-western corner of Section 40, Block V, Omapere Survey District; thence by the western boundaries of Sections 40, 41, 62, 63, and 21, all of Block V, Omapere Survey District; thence by the southern boundaries of Sections 21 and 57, Block IX, Omapere Survey District, and by the western boundaries of Sections 58, 61, and 60, Block IX, Omapere Survey District, to the Utakura River; thence by the centre of that river to the western boundary of Section 7, Block X, Omapere Survey District; thence by the western boundary of the said Section 7, and by the western boundary of Crown land adjoining Section 5, Block X, Omapere Survey District, to the south-east angle of the said Section 5, on the northern boundary of Block XIV, Omapere Survey District; thence by the northern and western boundaries of Block XIV, Omapere Survey District, and by the western boundary of Block II, Punakitere Survey District, to the Mangatoa Stream; thence by the centre of that stream to its confluence with the Punakitere River; thence by the centre of that river to the western boundary of the Wharepoke Block; thence by that boundary to the north-east angle of the Ninihi Block; thence by the northern and western boundaries of the Ninihi Block, and by the western boundaries of Sections 1 and 2, and portion of the western boundary of Section 3, Block X, Punakitere Survey District, to the most northerly point of the Te Marini Forest Reserve situated in Blocks IX and XIII, Punakitere Survey District; thence by the north-western boundary of such forest reserve, and by the northern boundary of Section 4, Block XIII, Punakitere Survey District, and by a road forming the western boundaries of Sections 4 and 6, Block XIII, Punakitere Survey District; and thence by the western boundary of Section 7, Block XIII, Punakitere Survey District, and by a production of such boundary to the headwaters of the Mangakahia River, near the south-west angle of the said Section 7; thence in a south-westerly direction by the centre of the said river until it reaches the survey-district boundary between the Punakitere and Tutamoe Survey Districts; thence due west by the said boundary, and by the boundary between the Waoku and Waipoua Survey Districts, to the western boundary of Block IV, Waipoua Survey District; thence due south by such boundary, and by the western boundary of Block VIII, Waipoua Survey District, to the Waipoua River; thence by the centre of that river to the sea; thence by the ocean to the north head of the Whangape Harbour, being the point of commencement.
Bay of Islands County.
All that area in the Land District of Auckland bounded towards the north-west by the Whangaroa County hereinbefore described, from the confluence of the Mangapapa and Waipapa Rivers to the sea; thence towards the north-east by the ocean to the northern boundary of Subdivision No. 9 of the Whangaroa or Ngaiotonga No. 4 Block; thence by the northern boundary of said Subdivision No. 9, and by portion of the northern and by the western boundary of the remainder of the said Whangaroa or Ngaiotonga Block, to the western boundary of the Tutaematai Block; thence by the western boundary of the said block, and by the western boundaries of a scenic reserve in Block XII, Russell Survey District, and by the western boundaries of Waikokopu Block, Punaruku No. 1 Block, and the north-western and western boundaries of Punaruku No. 2 Block, and by portion of the western boundary of Paremeta-Mokau Block until such latter boundary intersects the western boundary of Block IV, Hukerenui Survey District; thence by such western boundary of Block IV, Hukerenui Survey District, to the northern boundary of Section 11 of Block IV, Hukerenui Survey District; thence by the northern boundary of the said Section 11 and of Sections 16 and 11, Block III, Hukerenui Survey District; thence by the western boundaries of Sections 11, 12, 13, and 5 of Block III, and portion of the western boundary of Section 6, Block VII, Hukerenui Survey District; thence by the northern and western boundaries of Section 3, and by the western boundary of Section 4, Block VII, Hukerenui Survey District, and by the western boundary of the Puhipuhi No. 4 (Native Land Court Block) to the Waiotu River; thence by the centre of that river until it reaches the south-east side of the Tapuhi-Hukerenui Road in Section 17, Block X, Hukerenui Survey District; thence by the south-eastern side of that road to the Whangarei-Kawakawa main road; thence by the north-eastern side of that road until it reaches the western boundary of Section 19, Block X, Hukerenui Survey District; thence by the said western boundary of Section 19, and by the northern boundary of Section 38, Block X aforesaid, and by the northern and western boundaries of Te Mata Kauri-gum Reserve and Te Mata Kauri-gum Extension to the western boundary of Block X aforesaid; thence by such western boundary until it reaches Section 32, Block IX, Hukerenui Survey District; thence by the northern, western, and south-western boundaries of Section 32 aforesaid, and by the western boundary of Section 32, Block X, Hukerenui Survey District; thence by the northern boundaries of Sections 3, 4, and 5, Block XIII, Hukerenui Survey District, and by the eastern boundaries of Sections 24 and 23, the northern boundary of Section 23, and the western boundaries of Sections 23 and 24, Block IX, Hukerenui Survey District; thence by the northern and western boundaries of Section 13, Block XIII, Hukerenui Survey District, and by the northern boundaries of Mangakowhara and Kaikou No. 3 Blocks; thence by part of the western boundary of Kaikou No. 3 to the northern boundary of that part of the Nukatawhiti Block known as the middle part; thence by such northern boundary of the middle part of Nukatawhiti Block, and by a production of such boundary to the Awarua River; thence
