HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve the grant of temporary rank to officers of the Territorial Force and temporary commissions to N.C.O.s as set out hereunder, with effect from 23rd February, 1918.

2nd Lieutenant Thomas Littster Wilson, N.Z. Rifle Brigade (T.), is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant whilst employed in the Department of the Adjutant-General at Headquarters.
N.Z. ARMY PAY CORPS.
Staff Sergeant-Major George Bernard Mann is granted the honorary rank of Lieutenant (temp.) and is attached to the Army Pay Corps whilst employed in the War Expenses Branch, Wellington.
Staff Sergeant-Major Kenneth Elton Shorney is granted the honorary rank of Lieutenant (temp.) and is attached to the Army Pay Corps whilst employed in the War Expenses Branch, Wellington.
