In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
16/530, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red:

Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian
Order, Governor-General and Commander-in-

under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the
Government House at Wellington, this nineteenth

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William
de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the con-
sent of the owner of the land described in the Schedule
hereto, and of the Waipawa County Council, being the local
authority in whose district the said land is situated, pro-
claim as a road the land described in the said Schedule.

3 acres 2 roods 14 perches.
Portion of Block 120, Ruataniwha Crown-grant District,
Block IV, Takapau Survey District.

In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 21/52A,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the settlement
lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same
are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of
sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in
the manner provided in the said Act.

settlement land described in the Schedule hereto shall be
and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for
disposal by way of lease to discharged soldiers, on ordinary
tenures, under the Land for Settlements Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

W HEREAS by the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908
(hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), a
Scenery Preservation Board is constituted, and it is
enacted that such Board shall, when so directed by the
Minister charged for the time being with the administration
of the said Act, inspect any lands possessing scenic or
historic interest, or on which there are thermal springs,
and make inquiries respecting the same, and report to the
Governor-General; and shall from time to time recommend
what lands, whether Crown or private, shall be permanently
reserved as scenic, thermal, or historic reserves: And
