HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased
to approve of the appointments, promotions, and
transfers of officers on active service with the N.Z. Expedi-
tionary Force, vide List No. 75, N.Z.E.F. Orders.

AUCKLAND MOUNTED RIFLES.

Captain G. F. Yerex, having been absent from his unit off
duty for four months, is seconded, under the provisions of
N.Z.E.F. Regulation 34, to date 22nd July, 1918, and is
placed on the N.Z. Roll. Dated 29th August, 1918.

2nd Lieutenant C. B. Reid is placed on the N.Z. Roll. Dated
4th September, 1918.

Lieutenant D. S. McCathie, M.C., from being seconded under
the provisions of N.Z.E.F. Regulation 34, remains seconded
for duty to New Zealand. Dated 4th September, 1918.

2nd Lieutenant A. G. Shand is seconded for duty to New
Zealand. Dated 4th September, 1918.

Memorandum.

Captain D. S. Manners was attached to Instructional Staff,
Desert Mounted Corps School of Instruction, from 20th
May, 1918, to 22nd August, 1918.

CANTERBURY MOUNTED RIFLES.

Major P. J. Wain is placed on the N.Z. Roll. Dated 29th
August, 1918.

Captain L. R. C. Macfarlane, having embarked for New
Zealand on duty furlough, is placed on the N.Z. Roll.
Dated 4th September, 1918.

2nd Lieutenant M. J. O’Brien, D.C.M., is seconded for duty
