Memoranda.
Captain T. L. Gibbs performed the duties of Staff Captain, N.Z.M.R. Brigade, vice Captain D. S. Manners, Auckland Mounted Rifles, detached for duty on Instructional Staff, Desert Mounted Corps School of Instruction, from 20th May, 1918, to 22nd August, 1918.
Major H. C. Hurst, D.S.O., temporarily commanded the regiment from 7th July, 1918, to 21st July, 1918, and performed the duties of Second in Command from 21st July, 1918, to 10th August, 1918. vice Major P. M. Acton-Adams, D.S.O., at School of Instruction.
Major D. S. Murchison, D.S.O., performed the duties of Second in Command from 7th July, 1918, to 21st July, 1918.
Captain J. S. Barker temporarily commanded a squadron from 7th July, 1918, to 21st July, 1918, and from 28th July, 1918, to 10th August, 1918.
Captain L. R. C. Macfarlane temporarily commanded a squadron from 30th May, 1918, to 10th August, 1918.

Lieutenant G. B. Parkinson, R.N.Z.A., from Orderly Officer, 1st N.Z.F.A. Brigade, to be Adjutant, 1st N.Z.F.A. Brigade, vice Lieutenant F. F. Reid, and is granted the acting rank of Captain whilst so employed. Dated 6th September, 1918.
