WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Waikato County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of five thousand pounds, authorized to be raised by the Waikato County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing the amount necessary to enable the Waikato County Council to comply with an order of His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand under section 119 of the Public Works Act, 1908, dated the ninth day of April, 1918, whereby the Waikato County Council was authorized to construct a bridge over the Waikato River at Horotiu, with approaches, and it was ordered that the Waikato County Council should pay two-thirds of the cost of such bridge, the said Waikato County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fiftieth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the County of Waikato; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the
