Land temporarily reserved for an Endowment for Primary Education in the Parish of Kawakawa, Auckland Land District.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for an endowment for primary education.

SCHEDULE.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 8·7 perches, more or less, being Allotment 223 (portion of a closed road), Parish of Kawakawa. Bounded towards the west by Allotment 224 (portion of a closed road), 67·4 links; towards the north-west and towards the north-east generally by Allotment 175 (education reserve), 130·5, 195, 148, 116·3, 199·3, 875·5, 293·2, 113, 106, 196, and 171·4 links; towards the east by a public road, 51·2 links; towards the south-west generally by Allotment 222 (portion of a closed road), all in Kawakawa Parish aforesaid, 141·2, 191·5, 227, 52, 195, 251·4, 865, 194·8, 70·3, 127, 185·2, and 172·5 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the fifteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.
