ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this eleventh day
of November, 1918.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Buller County Council is a body of
persons having power to lease lands held in trust,
reserved, or set apart for public purposes, and has requested
the Governor-General in Council to declare it to be a leasing
authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases
Act, 1908 :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in compliance with such re-
quest, and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred
by the above-mentioned Act, and acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the Buller
County Council is a leasing authority within the meaning of
the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Waitahuna
Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this eleventh day
of November, 1918.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and
Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said
Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from
time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint
such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a
Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act,
control of such domain :
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-
first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven,
and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-
fourth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven,
a Domain Board was appointed to control the Waitahuna
Domain :
And whereas the period for which the said Board was
appointed expired on the twenty-fifth day of August, one
thousand nine hundred and eighteen :
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a
Domain Board to control the said domain :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers con-
ferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby appoint
FREDERIC ELLIS,
WILLIAM MCKENZIE,
FRANCIS WHELAN,
ALEXANDER BARRON, and
ROBERT MURRAY,
as from the twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine
hundred and eighteen, to be the Waitahuna Domain Board,
having the control of the land described in the Schedule
hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of
the said Act ; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the fourth
day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen,
at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the
Waitahuna School as the place where, the first meeting of
the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
WAITAHUNA DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, formerly known
as Havelock (Otago) Domain, and containing by admeasure-
ment 5 acres 1 rood 32 perches, more or less, being Section 21,
Block XXXII, Town of Havelock. Bounded towards the
north-west by part of Section 82, Block VII, Waitahuna
East Survey District, and by the abutment of a road, 1082
links ; towards the north-east by Section 20, Block XXXII,
of aforesaid town, 504 links ; towards the south-east by part
of Section 22, Block XXXII, of said town, 1082 links ; and
towards the south-west by a street reserve, 504 links : be
all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is de-
lineated on the plan marked L. 1445, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Waiuta
Domain.

as from the first day of November, one thousand nine hundred
and eighteen, to be the Waiuta Domain Board, having the
control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the
purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act ;
and doth hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-second day of
November, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, at half
past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Miners’
Hall, Waiuta, as the place where, the first meeting of the
Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
WAIUTA DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by
admeasurement 7 acres 0 roods 5 perches, more or less, being
Section 87, Township of Blackwater. Bounded towards the
north-east by Craighead Street, 1000 links; towards the
south-east by a street forming the north-western boundary
of Section 86 of said township, 878·6 links; towards the
south-west by a road, 685·3 links and 363·7 links; and
towards the north-west by a line parallel to the south-east
