Partial Revocation of an Order in Council prohibiting all Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of October, 1918.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is enacted that any Order in Council made under that section may at any time be varied or revoked:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority hereinbefore mentioned, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council referred to in Part I of the Schedule hereto, but only in so far as it affects the land mentioned in Part II of the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
PART I.
ORDER in Council under section 363 of the Native Land Act, 1909, dated the 23rd April, 1918, and gazetted the 26th April, 1918, affecting Taurewa 4 East A and other subdivisions of Taurewa 4.
PART II.
Tongariro and Waimanu Survey Districts.
Taurewa 4 West A No. 3, containing 159 acres.
Taurewa 4 West A No. 4A, containing 336 acres.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section nine of the Mining Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time by Order in Council appoint fit persons to be Wardens, who shall hold office during the Governor-General’s pleasure:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred by the said section nine of the Mining Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
FELIX HECTOR LEVIEN
to be a Warden, to hold and exercise the duties of such office under and subject to the provisions of the said Act during pleasure, on and from the first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

Regulations under the Census and Statistics Act, 1910.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Census and Statistics Act, 1910, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the regulations made under the said Act on the fifteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, and in lieu thereof do hereby make the following regulations prescribing additional matters in regard to which the Statistician shall collect statistics.
REGULATIONS.

In addition to the matters specified in paragraphs (a) to (j) of section 21 of the Census and Statistics Act, 1910, and in previous regulations issued thereunder, the Statistician shall, subject to that section, collect statistics in regard to quantities, classes, and varieties of wheat threshed and quantities of oats threshed.

The owner of every threshing-mill at which wheat and oats are threshed shall on request, within such time or times as he may be required by the Statistician so to do, furnish particulars as to quantities, classes, and varieties of wheat threshed and quantities of oats threshed.

In order to comply with the last preceding regulation the owner of the threshing-mill shall fill in and supply to the Statistician, or to any officer authorized by him in writing, the particulars specified in the form set out in the Schedule hereto in accordance with the instructions accompanying that form, and shall sign the form certifying to the correctness of the particulars entered therein.

In the two last preceding regulations “owner” includes the manager or person for the time being in charge of the threshing-mill.
