IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the two-hundred-and-twenty-fifth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

Commissioners to classify and report to me upon the rural land in the Canterbury Land District known as Run No. 16, St. James Station, Amuri County, as provided by the said section two hundred and twenty-five.

Commissioners to classify and report to me upon the rural lands in the Canterbury Land District known as Run No. 187, Little Roderick, Waimate County, and Runs Nos. 70 and 204, Clent Hills, Ashburton County, as provided by the said section two hundred and twenty-five.

Lands temporarily reserved in the Wellington and Nelson Land Districts.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Wellington and Nelson Land Districts described in the Schedule here-under written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 37·2 perches, more or less, being Section 584, Town of Foxton. Bounded towards the north by a railway reserve, 155 links; towards the east by Main Street, 150 links; towards the south by Wharf Street, 155 links; and towards the west by a railway reserve, 150 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/3/35A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. For a site for a post-office.
All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 8 perches, more or less, being Section 64, Raetihi Township Extension No. 1. Bounded towards the north by George Street, 100 links; towards the east by Section 46, 551 links; towards the south by Section 50, 100 links; and towards the west by Section 45, 551 links, all in Raetihi Township Extension No. 1 aforesaid: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 5438/37, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. For an addition to a show-ground for the use of the Waimarino Agricultural, Pastoral, Horticultural, and Industrial Association (Incorporated).
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 0 roods 27 perches, more or less, being Section 55, Block I, Tutaki Survey District, and being the road closed by a Proclamation published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 4th day of July, 1918, page 2486. Bounded towards the north by a public road, 100 links; towards the east by Section 92 of Square 138, 1172·8 links; towards the south by a public road, 100 links; and towards the west by Section 91 of Square 138, 1172·8 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/590, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. For an addition to a ferry reserve.
All that area in the Nelson Land District containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Section 5, Block VIII, Inangahua Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Crown land, 250·3 links; towards the east by a public road, 400 links; towards the south by a public road, 250·3 links; and towards the west by Crown land, 400 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/194, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a site for a public school.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section four of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
CHARLES EDWARD STEWART
to be a trustee, in the place of Thomas Wills, who has left the district, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Matire Public Cemetery, in conjunction with John Gray, Thomas Harry White, Thomas Taylor, and James Norris Langman, previously appointed.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this twenty-fifth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

to be trustees, in the place of Joseph Smith and James Felix O’Hanlon, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Hukerenui Public Cemetery, in conjunction with Edward Brock, Robert Rose Forsyth, Reginald Rawlings, Carey John Pinnock, and William Tebbutt, previously appointed.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this twenty-third day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.
