Revoking the Reservation over a Scenic Reserve in the Wellington Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the fourth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the eleventh day of that month, the land described in the Schedule hereto was declared to be a reserve under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908:

And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the destruction of the bush thereon :

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 15, Block X, Makotuku Survey District : Area, 8 acres 2 roods 16 perches.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owners and mortgagees of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Raglan County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Onewhero Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto ; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road described in the First Schedule hereto.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of roads in Blocks VI and X, Whangara Survey District:

And whereas the Cook County Council has laid before the Governor-General a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling
