Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Huirangi Domain.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this eighth day of October, 1918.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the tenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twelfth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Huirangi Domain:
And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
PERCY HAROLD EDWARD SURREY,
FREDERICK YOUNG ANDREWS, and
JOSEPH HENRY SMITH,
as from the tenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, to be the Huirangi Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the sixth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Huirangi Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
HUIRANGI DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Sections 138, 139, 140, 141, 142, 152, 153, 154, 155, 156, Huirangi Township, Block IX, Waitara Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Leedom Street, 835 links; towards the east by Sections 143 and 157, Huirangi Township, 601·2 links; towards the south by Appleby Street, 835 links; and towards the west by Section 3, Huirangi Town Belt, 601·2 links.
Also all that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Sections 166, 167, 168, 169, 170, 171, 172, 173, 174, 175, Huirangi Township, Block IX, Waitara Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Appleby Street, 1336 links; towards the east by Huirangi Street, 380 links; towards the south by Section 3, Huirangi Town Belt, 1336 links; and towards the west by the aforesaid Section 3, 380 links.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. 1422, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.

as from the thirteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen; to be the Patutahi Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the fifth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, at half past two o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the dining-room on the Patutahi Domain as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
PATUTAHI DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 61 acres 0 roods 22 perches, more or less, being Section No. 81, Block I, Turanganui Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a road-line for a distance of 3023 links; towards the south-east by part of Whenuakura B Block for 1639 links; towards the south-west by Sections 32 and 33 for 2737 links; and towards the north-west by Section 35 for 2796 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1·10, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.
