as from the twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, to be the Greendale Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-sixth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, at three o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Greendale as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

GREENDALE DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 3 roods 17 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 1565, situated in Block XIV, Hawkins Survey District. Bounded towards the north by a public road, 772 links; towards the east by Section 12627, 1616 links; towards the south-west by Section 12348, 1026 links; and towards the west by Reserve 1518, 938 links.

Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres 0 roods 4 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 3882 (formerly part of Section 9097), situated in Block XIV, Hawkins Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by other part of the said Section 9097, 219·5 links, 296·6 links, 253·9 links, and 706·3 links; towards the south-east by Sections 8956 and 8795, 1255·8 links; and towards the west by a public road, 1156·7 links. As the same are delineated on the plans marked respectively L. and S. 1/309B and L. and S. 1/309A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Waikaiia Domain.

At the Government House at Wellington, this eighth day of October, 1918.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the fifteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirtieth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Waikaiia Domain:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the fourteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen:

And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Sections Nos. 1 to 22 inclusive, Block IV, Town of Waikaiia. Bounded towards the north-west by Blaydon Street, 500 links; towards the north-east by Ryton Street, 1100 links; towards the south-east by Scotswood Street, 500 links; and towards the south-west by Wylam Street, 1100 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1423, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 3 roods 9 perches, more or less, being Section No. 2, Block I, Town of Heriot. Bounded towards the north by part of Section No. 1 of said block, 1435·6 links; towards the south-east by the abutment of a street and Sections Nos. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 of aforesaid block, 779·1 links; towards the south by part of Nith Street, 1238·6 links; towards the west by part of Leader Street, 619·6 links; and towards the north-west by part of Tweed Street, 166·4 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1006, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
