Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Otau Domain.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this tenth day of September, 1918.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any local authority to be the Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of any public domain :
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the ninth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, the Wairoa Road Board was appointed the Otau Domain Board, having control of the lands described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act :
And whereas by special order published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirtieth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, the Wairoa Road District became merged in the Manukau County, and the Wairoa Road Board became thereby non-existent :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the aforementioned Order in Council of the sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, and doth hereby appoint
THE MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL
to be the Otau Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the eighth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Gleeson’s Buildings, High Street, Auckland, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
OTAU DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being Allotments Nos. 14, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, of Section No. 1 of the Village of Otau, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 0 roods 8 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by Allotment No. 37 of Section No. 1 of the village aforesaid, 210 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 508 and 195 links; towards the south-west by Allotment No. 1 of Section No. 1 of the village aforesaid, 137 links; and towards the north-west by a public road, 194·5 links, 120 links, and 395 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more of less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. I/592, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, being Allotments Nos. 41, 42, and 43 of Section 1 aforesaid of the village aforesaid, and containing by admeasurement 1 rood 4 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 290 links and 208·7 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 223 links and 115 links; and towards the west by a public road aforesaid, 231·2 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. I/592, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, being Allotment No. 26 of Section No. 2 of the village aforesaid, containing by admeasurement 26 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by Allotments Nos. 20 and 21 of Section 2 of the village aforesaid, towards the south-east by a public road, towards the south-west by the Wairoa River, and towards the north-west by Allotment No. 27 of Section No. 2 aforesaid to the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. I/592A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, being Allotments Nos. 28, 31, 32, of Section No. 2 of the village aforesaid, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 22 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by Allotment No. 25 of Section No. 2 of the village aforesaid, towards the south-east by Allotments Nos. 29 and 30 of the said Section No. 2, again towards the north-east by the said Allotment No. 30, again towards the south-east by a public road, towards the south-west by the Wairoa River, and towards the north-west by a public road to the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. I/592A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this tenth day of September, 1918.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain :
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-ninth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirty-first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Mangere Domain :
And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the twenty-eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen :
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
HIS WORSHIP THE MAYOR OF ONEHUNGA (ex officio),
THE CHAIRMAN, MANGERE ROAD BOARD (ex officio),
JAMES ROBERTSON,
JOHN EDWARD TAYLOR,

as from the twenty-ninth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, to be the Mangere Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, at half past two o’clock p.m. as the time when, and the residence of Mr. James Robertson, Mangere Bridge, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 95 acres, more or less, being Allotment No. 200 of the Parish of Manurewa (Block V, Otahuhu Survey District). Bounded towards the north-west by Allotment No. 205, the abutment of a public road, and by Allotment No. 206, Manurewa Parish, 2558·6 links; towards the north-east by Allotment No. 201, the abutment of a public road, and Allotments Nos. 207 and 202 of the aforesaid parish, 1788 links; towards the south-east by the abutment of a public road, 100 links wide, and by Allotment No. 203 of the aforesaid parish, 1542 and 853·4 links; again towards the north-east by the abutment of a public road 100 links wide, 123 links; again towards the south-east by Allotments Nos. 46 and 48 of the Suburbs of the Village of Mangere, 854·3 links; towards the south-west by Allotment No. 49 of the aforesaid suburbs, and Allotment No. 204, Manurewa Parish, 969·4 and 1724·8 links; and again towards the north-west
