Stopping Government Roads in Block IX, Leaning Rock Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by paragraph (c) of section one hundred and thirty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Proclamation publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road or any part thereof:

And whereas the Government roads described in the Schedule hereto are no longer required for the purposes of roads:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the roads described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road hereby stopped:β€”

1 3 26 Sections 64 and 103.
0 3 21 " 8 and 101.

Situated in Block IX, Leaning Rock Survey District.

In the Otago Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 44386, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-third day of July, 1918.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared a Government road: 5 acres 1 rood 29Β·2 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Sections 73, 72, and 71, Kohoroa Parish, Block VI, Wharekawa Survey District. (S.O. 19936.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 43892, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.
