of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that
the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall,
on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a
Government road.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared a Government road: 23 acres 3 roods 17 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Porangahau 1b No. 4 Block, Blocks XV and XVI, Porangahau Survey District.
In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 43930, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-third day of July, 1918.
Present :
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the seventeenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twentieth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Tokomairiro Domain:
And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the sixteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen:
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

HARRY MACLEAN DRIVER,
JOHN ALEXANDER DUTHIE,
CHARLES KING,
ALEXANDER NELSON,
THOMAS SCOTT,
GEORGE HAMILTON THOMSON, and
CHARLES GREY
to be the Tokomairiro Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the third day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, at three o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Bruce County Chambers, Milton, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
TOKOMAIRO DOMAIN.
ALL those parcels of land situated in the Otago Land District, and containing together by admeasurement 57 acres 0 roods 4 perches, more or less, being parts of Sections 103 and 104, Block XII, Tokomairiro Survey District, and bounded as follows:—
Firstly, commencing at the eastern corner of aforesaid Section 104, thence proceeding in a southerly direction 563 links by the main South Road, thence in a north-westerly and south-westerly direction 1032 links and 600 links by the Tokomairiro Farmers’ Club Reserve, thence in a north-westerly direction 1961 links by part of said Section 104 to main South Railway Reserve, thence in a north-easterly direction 742·4 links and 744·8 links by said railway reserve, and thence in a south-easterly direction 3330 links by Section 105 to point of commencement.
Secondly, commencing at the western corner of said Section 103, thence in a north-easterly direction 1500 links by Section 112, thence in a south-easterly direction 390 links by railway land, thence in a southerly direction 1740 links by said railway reserve, and thence in a north-westerly direction 1170 links by Section 102 to point of commencement.
Thirdly, commencing at a point on the north-west side of the main South Road distant 809 links in a north-easterly direction from the most southerly corner of Section 103, and bounded thence towards the south-east by the main South Road, 1022 links; towards the south-west by a road-line, 1028 links; towards the north-west by other parts of Sections 103 and 104, 926 links; and towards the north-east by the said Tokomairiro Farmers’ Club Reserve, 1032 links.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/47, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any local authority to be the Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of any public domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the eighteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, the land described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
THE CASTLECLIFF TOWN BOARD
to be the Castlecliff Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the twelfth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, at half-past eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Town Hall, Castlecliff, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
CASTLECLIFF DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing approximately 12 acres, being Section 1, Block IV, Westmere Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by the sea-beach on a line formed by extending the north-western boundary-line of Section 451, on deposited plan No. 3060, to its intersection with high-water mark; towards the north-east generally by a road reserve one chain wide; towards the south-east by the Town of Castlecliff; and towards the south-west generally by high-water mark of the Tasman Sea. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1913/1367, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
