NEW ZEALAND MEDICAL CORPS.

The undermentioned, attested in England, are taken on the strength :—
Captain W. J. Porteous, to date from 28th February, 1917.
Captain E. C. Lowe, M.B., to date from 12th March, 1917.
Lieutenant P. G. McEvedy, to date from 27th February, 1917.
Major J. G. Mitchell, M.B., is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel whilst commanding No. 1 Field Ambulance, from 4th December, 1916, to 17th January, 1917.
Captain A. V. Short, M.B., is granted the temporary rank of Major whilst commanding a section of No. 2 Field Ambulance, from 1st March, 1916, to 1st December, 1916.
Captain (now Major) A. M. Trotter, M.B., is granted the temporary rank of Major whilst temporarily 2nd in command of N.Z. Mounted Field Ambulance, to date from 17th December, 1916.

The undermentioned are taken on the strength of the N.Z. Expeditionary Force (vide List No. 26, N.Z.E.F. Orders) :—
Captain J. F. G. Richards, from R.A.M.C., to date from 13th August, 1916.
Captain D. E. Fenwick, from R.A.M.C., to date from 29th June, 1916.

Miss Coila Brown, attested in England, is taken on the strength as a Masseuse, to date from 26th February, 1917.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve of the appointments and transfers of the undermentioned officers on active service with the N.Z. Expeditionary Force (vide List No. 38, N.Z.E.F. Orders).

COMMANDS AND STAFF.

Colonel the Hon. G. J. Smith, Canterbury Regiment, to be 2nd in command, N.Z. Infantry Reserve Group, to date from 14th February, 1917.
Captain T. R. Eastwood, M.C., Rifle Brigade, to be Brigade Major, 4th N.Z. Infantry Brigade, to date from 15th March, 1917.
Captain P. W. Skelley, N.Z.S.C., to be Administrative Officer, N.Z. Infantry Reserve Group, to date from 6th March, 1917.

CANTERBURY MOUNTED RIFLES.

Captain J. S. Barker is seconded for duty as A.D.C. to G.O.C., Anzac Mounted Division, to date from 7th February, 1917.

NEW ZEALAND CAMEL CORPS.

Lieutenant H. C. Hemphill to be Adjutant, 3rd (Anzac) Battalion, Imperial Camel Corps, and is seconded while so employed, to date from 11th November, 1916.

NEW ZEALAND ENGINEERS.
