NEW ZEALAND CHAPLAINS DEPARTMENT.

The Reverend Lyttelton Lucas Cubitt, Chaplain to the Forces, 3rd Class, is posted to the Retired List, under the provisions of paragraphs 126 and 127, General Regulations, 1913, with permission to retain his rank and wear the prescribed uniform. Dated 4th May, 1917.

The Reverend Frederick Warner to be Chaplain to the Forces, 4th Class (temp.), vice the Reverend A. S. Craik, on active service. Dated 17th April, 1917.

The commission granted the Reverend Frederick Trevor Evershed, Chaplain to the Forces, 4th Class, is cancelled, under the provisions of section 5 (a) of the Defence Act, 1909. Dated 3rd May, 1917.

The commission granted the Reverend Thomas James Parry, Chaplain to the Forces, 4th Class, is cancelled, under the provisions of section 5 (a) of the Defence Act, 1909. Dated 3rd May, 1917.

With reference to the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 78, of 3rd May, 1917, Appointments of Officers on Active Service, New Zealand Expeditionary Force, under the heading “Infantry” add the name of 2nd Lieutenant Alexander Douglas Jack, Unattached List (b), with seniority next below 2nd Lieutenant D. G. Cody; and delete the name of 2nd Lieutenant Theodore Morriss, Unattached List (b), General List.

With reference to the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 11, of 25th January, 1917, Appointments of Officers on Active Service, New Zealand Expeditionary Force, under the heading “Infantry” add the name of 2nd Lieutenant Henry Aston Highet, Unattached List (b), General List, with seniority next below 2nd Lieutenant F.
