Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Kakahi Domain.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this thirtieth day of April, 1917.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-second day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the eleventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, the domain described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

FREDERICK WALTER JAMES GREENSTREET,
FRANK BARNETT,
ERNEST ALBERT LINTHERN,
GEORGE JAMES BELL, and
BASIL HERBERT HUMPHREY
to be the Kakahi Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Kakahi Public Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
KAKAHI DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 20 acres 3 roods 22 perches, more or less, being Section 12, Block VI, Hunua Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west and north-east generally by a road and riverbank reserve, and by a public road; towards the south by Section 29, Block VI, Hunua Survey District, 642·15 links; towards the south-west by Crown land, 1733·4 links, bearing 286° 22′ 43″; and towards the west by Section 1, Block VI, aforesaid: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked 1484, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Declaring Portions of Road in Block XIV, Waiapu Survey District, to be a Government Road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.
