Declaring an Additional Disease under the Orchard and Garden Diseases Act, 1908, and extending the Second Schedule of that Act to include the said Disease.—Notice No. 1876.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this sixteenth day of April, 1917.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Orchard and Garden Diseases Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that on and after the date of the publication of this Order in Council in the Gazette
Banana Scale (Aspidiotus destructor transparens)
shall be a disease within the meaning of the said Act; and, with the like advice and consent, doth hereby extend the Second Schedule to the said Act by including the aforesaid disease therein.

Declaring Otamauri Settlement Roads, in the Hawke’s Bay County, to be County Roads.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this sixteenth day of April, 1917.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county roads.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road, in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Hawke’s Bay County, commencing at a point on the Napier-Patea Road, and proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction along the northern boundary of Section 6, Block I, Matapiro Survey District, and terminating at a point on the western boundary of Section 5, Block I, Matapiro Survey District; being a distance of 1 mile 44 chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of road, in the said land district and county, commencing at a point on the northern boundary of Section 6, Block I, Matapiro Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction through Section 4, Block I, Matapiro Survey District, and terminating at a point near the north-west corner of the said Section 4; being a distance of forty-nine chains, more or less.
As the said portions of roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42061, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon cross-hatched blue.

Declaring Portions of Miroahuião-Matiere Road, in the Waitomo County, to be a County Road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of the Miroahuião-Matiere Road, in the Auckland Land District, Waitomo County, commencing at its junction with the Te Kuiti – Awakino Road, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction, adjoining or passing through Sections B 2 No. 5, No. 4 B 1, No. 5c No. 2, B No. 5c No. 3, B No. 5c No. 4b, B No. 4, Block XI, and B No. 5c No. 5, Blocks XI and XII, Otanake Survey District, and terminating at the southern boundary of the said Section B No. 5c No. 5, Block XII aforesaid; being a distance of 3 miles 40 chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of the same road in the Taranaki Land District, Waitomo County, commencing at a point in Section part No. 1A No. 2b, Block VI, Totoro Survey District (about thirty-five chains north-east of the point where the road enters Section 1, Block IX, Totoro Survey District), and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction adjoining or passing through the said Section part No. 1A No. 2b, Block VI, and Sections 1 and 2, and part of Aria Township, Block IX, Totoro Survey District, to its junction with the Kumara Road; being a distance of 1 mile 72 chains, more or less.
As the said portions of road are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42075, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Cobden Domain.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this sixteenth day of April, 1917.

THE HONOURABLE W. H. HERRIES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the second day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the ninth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nine, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Cobden Domain:
And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen:
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
JOHN WALKER,
JOSEPH TAYLOR,
GEORGE SWEETMAN,
ALBERT VICTOR BILLETT, and
ALBERT HAROLD GREENWOOD
to be the Cobden Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the fifteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public Schoolroom, Cobden, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

COBDEN DOMAIN, GREY COUNTY.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 8 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 44, Block IV, Cobden Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Hall Street, towards the north-east by Nelson Quay, towards the south-east by a road
